Writers
Elwood Ullman and Edward Bernds had previously worked
with The Three Stooges.
Allied Artists were rumoured to be in financial difficulties
when they made the deal with Col. Parker for Elvis to
star in Tickle Me. The colonel helped them save production
costs by allowing Elvis to mime to old songs rather than
recording new ones.
As a promotion gimmick, the Col. ordered 1 million
feathers to hand out to cinema goers.
Elvis co-star in the movie Jocelyn Lane got on admirably
with Elvis during the shooting of the film as they both
shared an interest in Astrology.
