In this chapter: "The Woman Attacked by the Dragons" you will find 8 certain features which connect the Woman to Princess Diana (plus a few vague ones) explained in the text. This disproves the traditional guesswork where the Woman was usually the "Virgin" Mary, occasionally the Church, sometimes Christianity, then the people of Israel, the "Feminine Principle in all its archetypal glory" or even the Holy Spirit.
Both chapter 12 and 13 deal with the British monarchy and therefore allow us to identify time and place for the fulfilment of other predictions. Chapter 12 tells us the historical importance of Princess Diana for the end times: The attacks and ruthless exploitation she had to suffer leading to her foreseeable death exposed the hidden, evil nature of the system represented by her enemies and by people who exploited her for commercial reasons. Future generations may conclude that Diana's death finally destroyed all (admittedly vague) hope to find someone famous and powerful among the ruling class of our world who could help to enforce a new way of life for the coming age. After her death a peaceful transition is not possible any more and we can no longer escape from this destructive period of deteriorating crises and disasters, which will eventually lead to the bloody World Revolution predicted by various prophets, for example in Revelation chapter 14.
Diana's suffering caused a war in "heaven", which will lead to the final defeat of the Dragon. The historic importance of this scenario is confirmed by the predictions: Daniel and Susanna and Daniel and the Dragon from the Apocrypha.
The Dragon in chapter 12 and 13 is an equivocal symbol: it does not only mean Satan, but there are also various heraldic dragons in Britain. Therefore the Dragon can have meanings that change within one chapter and sometimes even a double meaning in one sentence.
The description of the Woman's image is ambiguous: The crown of twelve stars on her head means that she represented the best traditions of Jewish and Christian culture. Unfortunately it was only the earth that helped her, which means that she deliberately gained her importance only by her looks and the money she could raise for charities.
A Son of the Woman will rule all the nations with an iron sceptre probably means that Britain will soon be the centre of a worldwide empire again. In the past most Bible commentators have taken the view that this Son and the Rider on the White Horse from chapter 19 will be Jesus. This interpretation is based on prejudice. There is nothing in the Book of Revelation to verify this idea.
First we have to realize that as human beings we are only pawns in a divine game. God uses us, he makes us great and drops us whenever he pleases.
Revelation chapter 12 predicts an attack by the British Dragon Press, but it does not predict that Diana would die. Instead she could have escaped the Dragon by going abroad, but she did not want to do that, even though she probably knew this prediction. In 1995 and 1996 I had the impression that her life was in danger, but as the attacks by her enemies could not do her much damage I had concluded that she was under special divine protection and could not be harmed.
Why did she apparently die under such tragic circumstances: riding at very high speed with a drunk driver not wearing a seat-belt? This is a difficult question, but it is worth considering, because it has important implications for human life in general, for every single one of us particularly in these crucial times.
One of the main conclusions from all the predictions in the Revelation is that the battle for the future of humanity is being fought in Britain. Diana's death seems to be a bad omen and could mean that this struggle is already lost. As in the 17th century overcoming the present outdated British political system namely the Monarchy would be a crucial step in bringing about a new era with a new way of life for the whole world. Diana was the ideal candidate to assume a leading part in this struggle. She was not corrupt, the British Establishment had largely been hostile to her and she had an enormous power through her worldwide popularity to campaign for the solution of those problems which threaten the survival of the human race: greed, poverty, wars, weapons, environmental damage, etc. Yet she mainly got involved with second rate issues such as raising money for cancer research, for homeless people and helping the campaign against land-mines. Diana remained an asset to her enemies seeking love and recognition from people who wanted to get rid of her supporting her enemies and ignoring her friends. She stayed loyal to the doomed institutions of the British State and the Monarchy upholding what will have to be abolished soon. On placards and personally delivered messages I had repeatedly advised Diana to enforce her human right to privacy and to fight against libel by taking legal action according to the European Convention for the protection of Human Rights. One of the reasons why I did this was verse 14. But Diana was too much caught up in her traditional role and its rules: members of the British Royal Family only sue if they have full support of the Establishment. The "Queen" has successfully sued against libel and to protect the privacy of her sons, but Diana was not able to overcome the Palace conspiracy that prevented her from doing the same.
She was not going to have as much impact on history and the future of the world as she could have had. At some stage God probably decided that dead Diana would serve his purpose better than the living one. This may sound harsh or even mad, but nothing in this world happens against the will of God.
And this is the lesson for us: For everyone there is a purpose in life beyond having fun, making money and looking after the family. It is our duty to find this purpose and carry it out. Bad luck such as disease, becoming a victim of crime, difficulty at work or with our relationships and other personal disasters can guide us towards this purpose, when we are going the wrong way. If however we cannot get the message and don't change in spite of all these signs, we are in danger of losing protection by God. Finding out our purpose is difficult. Knowledge of history, current events and predictions like the Book of Revelation can give some guidance. So can listening to friends, meditating, relaxing and thinking. The future of humanity is predetermined, but the fate of individuals is not, because to some extent we have free will to decide.
In my message to Diana I had written about Revelation, chapter 12: "Once you understand the predictions, you can decide, whether you want to shape your future accordingly, or whether you want to plan it in a way, which proves that these predictions are not about you. If these predictions are about you, you may find that this choice really does not exist at all."
As it turned out, the choice did exist, she rejected the conclusions of this prophecy and the support I offered, the attacks and human rights abuses against her continued until she was dead.
If you go along with the current of history, you will succeed. Indifference and going against it is dangerous. Diana died, because she was negligent about her own safety, caught up in traditional outdated thinking and because she let evil and greedy people take advantage of her.
This should be a warning: humanity will also cease to exist, if we are negligent about our future, unable to change the way we think and if we let evil and greedy people take advantage of us.
