Biblical, Mythical and Heraldic Beasts:

The Dragon

Traditionally the Dragon is a symbol of evil and commentators of the Bible have usually interpreted the Dragon as meaning Satan.

In Britain however the Dragon, which was introduced as a heraldic symbol by the Romans, has many other meanings. It is a widespread British heraldic symbol which often appears in Revelation, chapter 12 and 13 giving us hints where to look for fulfilment of these predictions. We can understand these chapters by asking ourselves which of these dragons fits best. Some verses even make sense with different dragons giving them a double meaning:

The dragon thus symbolizes the foundation of the power of the British State in the past and the worldwide Anglo-American "Western" Culture dominated by business today. This cultural aspect of the dragon symbol is made clear in chapter 12, where it has the crowns on its heads symbolizing thinking while the lion has them on its horns symbolizing political power.

In the words of Revelation 13:2:

The dragon gave the beast (the Lion of England symbolizing the British State since the Normans) his power and his throne and great authority.

And Rev 13:4:

People worshipped the dragon, because he had given his authority to the beast (The British State), and they also worshipped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?"

The sign of London is a dragon with "Domine dirige nos" (O Lord guide us) written underneath. Londoners make the Dragon a god who shall guide them, a blasphemy that was predicted in the Apocrypha of the Old Testament: the story about Daniel and the "Babylonians" worshipping the Dragon. This story and the story about Susanna were added to the Bible about 1000 years after the prophet Daniel's death.

The two stories are therefore no historical accounts and can also be understood as prophetic visions. If you compare these two stories to Revelation chapter 12, you will find surprising parallels.

The Lion

The Sign of Britain, the Jews and our Western Civilization

From the human point of view a lion is a very destructive animal. This is why the ancient Egyptians had the lion-headed Sun-goddess "S(ekhm)et", who symbolized the destructive power of the element of fire. This force is equivalent to the Devil, called "Set". In the fourteenth century BC, the so-called "thirteen fatal years", under Pharaoh Akhnaton the Egyptians increased their worship of Sekhmet along with the worship of the Sun god Aton. Many of her statues from this time can now be seen in the British Museum.

In those days before the Exodus, the Jews stayed in Egypt and some of them became acquainted with Egyptian magic arts. Today the close connection of Jewish culture to occultism still shows by the frequent use of Hebrew words and letters in occult literature. This movement within Judaism became predominant after King Solomon up to the present day. They adopted the Lion of Judah as their symbol. Later, when the Jews had emigrated to Europe, we can find the heraldic Lion with the Normans, in England, Bavaria and many other parts of Europe even though lions had never lived there. People adopted the name Leo (Latin for lion), Lionheart, Leonard, Leon, Lionel, etc.

There are many quotations in the Bible, especially the Old Testament branding the Lion as the symbol of godless Jews turning away from the teachings of their prophets:

Theologians have often equated Jesus with the Lion of Judah and there have even been 13 popes by the name of Leo. Apparently, they have missed or deliberately ignored the negative meaning of the lion symbol. However, there is also some sinister consistency and logic: Our destructive, greedy Western Lion Civilization increasingly contradicts the principles of Bible prophets such as Jesus. Despite all the rhetoric about Jesus being God church teachings and rituals influence people's subconscious minds against him: His murder is something useful to be glad about, because it takes away your sins. No wonder people pretend to drink his blood like vampires, eat his flesh like cannibals and call the anniversary of his cruel, politically motivated murder "Good-Friday".
