The Fall of BabyLondon

 The Symbol of our Age

See comments

(Like no other city in history London has all the features of the Great City whose destruction is threatened in this chapter. This does not mean that it is the most evil place today, nor does it mean that other cities are safe from this kind of event. However for each prediction one particular place has to be singled out. Britain has been the source and model for our worldwide "Western Civilization" and London is the symbol of our age and its way of live. Nowadays "Babylon" is everywhere.)

After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and his splendour illuminated the whole earth.

(2) With a loud voice he shouted, "Fallen! Great Babylon has fallen! She has become a home for demons and for every evil spirit
(No other country in the world is as much riddled with ghosts as England. No other modern culture is traditionally as much connected to occultism as the English. Even the map is full of witches, a fact witch is hidden by the spelling: In London we find Greenwitch, Woolwitch, Dullwitch and the previous home of the Oldwitch, known as Aldwych in Central London. Elsewhere on the map are towns like Sandwitch, Ipswitch, Nor(th)witch, Middlewitch etc., see also 11:8, 13:1, 14:8, 17:3)
a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.
(The six [number of the element of "fire" and the devil] ravens [birds of doom and bad luck] in the Tower of London, on which the survival of the Monarchy depends. Pigeons carrying diseases have become an airborne pest in every modern city. Some people think about the Spice Girls, when they read this sentence.)

(3) For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her immoral ideology.
(The British ideology of greed known as "liberalism" has spread via the British Empire, the Freemasons and many bourgeois revolutions instigated by them throughout the world. Nowadays "Babylon" is everywhere, see 13:3, 14:8, 17:2, 19:2.)
The kings of the earth
(bankers)
committed immoral behaviour with her,

 Their god Worshipping Money, the Picture of the Beast Their god

and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive wealth."
 Their god Their god Their god Their god
(London is one of the world centres of trade, prices of raw materials and other goods are fixed by the merchants of London for the whole world.)

(4) Then I heard another voice from heaven say, "Come out of her, my people. You must not take part in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her punishments;
(In every city there are shallow people, evil people and God's people. However when disaster strikes as a divine punishment, it will strike indiscriminately against people who are guilty by their actions and those who did nothing wrong but played their part in the evil system and are guilty by their non-action: Failing to oppose may also be punished with death, see 14:12.)

(5) for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.
(The crimes of creating a worldwide empire on murder and armed robbery and piling up excessive wealth while people are dying from starvation and easily curable diseases in other parts of the world will attract divine punishment sooner or later. The old abusive class system of the Empire is not only still in power, but many political mainstream fascists praise this tradition instead of paying damages to victim nations.)

(6) Treat her exactly as she has treated you; pay her back double for what she has done. Mix her a double portion from her own cup.
(Sounds like a special message to people like the IRA to remember history.)

(7) Give her as much suffering and grief as the glory and luxury she gave herself. In her heart she keeps telling herself, "Here I sit as 'Queen';
(One of the features to locate "Babylon" and date of the threatened disaster is the presence of a "Queen".)
I am not a widow, and I will never have any grief."
(See 2:23, Isaiah 47:8.)

(8) Therefore in one day she
(the "Queen" as well as the city)
will be struck with plagues: disease, mourning, famine and destruction. She will be consumed by fire,

because mighty is the LORD God who judges her.

(9) When the kings of the earth
(bankers)
who committed immoral behaviour with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and cry over her.

(10) Terrified at her suffering they will stay far away and cry, "How terrible! How dreadful, Oh great and powerful city, Oh BabyLondon!
In one hour your doom has struck!"

(11) The merchants of the earth will weep and cry over her, because nobody buys their goods any more;

(12) their gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; goods made of fine linen, purple silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of rare wood, and every kind of article made of ivory, expensive wood, bronze, iron and marble;

(13) cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and bodies and souls of men.

(14) They will say, "All the good things you wanted to have are gone from you. All your wealth and splendour have vanished, never to be found again."

(15) The merchants who did business with these things and gained their wealth from that city will stay far away, terrified at her suffering. They will weep and mourn

(16) and say, "How terrible! How dreadful, Oh great city, dressed in fine linen,
(linen symbolizes the colour white)
purple and scarlet
(Purple and scarlet is as close to the main colours blue and red of the British flag as can be expected in such a vision, see 17:4.)
and full of gold, precious stones and pearls!

(17) In one hour such great wealth has been lost!" Every sea captain and passenger, the sailors, and everybody else who earn their living from the sea, will stay far away.

(18) When they see the smoke from the flames that destroy her,

they will cry out, "There was never a city like this great city!"

(19) They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out, "How terrible! How dreadful, Oh great city, where all who had ships on the sea became rich through her wealth!
(London is an international centre of sea trade.)
In one hour she has lost everything! Be glad over her, Oh heaven!

(20) Celebrate God's people apostles and prophets! God has condemned her for the way she treated you."

(21) Then a mighty angel took a stone the size of a large millstone. He threw it into the sea and said, "With such violence the great city of BabyLondon will be thrown down, never to be seen again

(Asteroids and comets have frequently collided with Earth killing off the dinosaurs and many other species on this planet about 65 million years ago. In the year 2028 Asteroid 1997 XF 11 will come quite close. Nobody can be sure how close, see 4:5, 6:13, 8:5, 11:19, 16:18, Isaiah 2:10. Scientists and prophets have predicted that a shift in the axis of the earth plus the rise of the sea level due to global warming might lead to the sea rising over many densely populated coastal areas in a few years time.)

The sound of a millstone will never be heard in you again.

(23) Never will the light of a lamp be seen in you again. Never will the voice of any bridegroom and bride be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world's powerful men. With your false magic all the nations were deceived.

(24) BabyLondon was punished for the blood of prophets
