Isaiah, Chapter 2:

Excessive Wealth, Modern Traffic, False Worship and God's Revenge

(7) Their land is full of silver and gold; there is no end to their wealth. Their land is full of horses; there is no end to the vehicles.
(Like Habakkuk 1:8 this prediction only makes sense if we understand it as "horses" meaning cars, see Revelation 9:6 and 9:17.)

(8) Their land is full of idols; they worship the work of their hands, what their fingers have made.
(Worship does not mean going to church to perform vain ritual that make you feel bored or miserable. True worship means loving something and having fun. Popular idols these days are not only wooden crosses in churches, statues of saints or a black piece of rock in Mecca, but even more so pictures of celebrities, cars, monuments, works of art, etc. see Revelation 9:20.)

(9) So man will be humiliated and humanity disgraced - do not forgive them.

(10) Go to caves in the rocks, hide in the ground from dread of the LORD and the brilliance of his divine power!

[. . .]

(19) Men will flee to shelters in the rocks and to pits in the ground from the dread of the LORD and the brilliance of his divine power, when he gets up to shake the earth.
Asteroid 1999 AN10 may hit the earth in August 2039
(See Revelation 4:5, 6:13, 8:5, 11:19, 16:18, 18:21.)

(20) In that day men will throw away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and idols of gold, which they made to worship.

(21) They will flee to holes in the rock and dens from dread of the LORD
and the brilliance of his divine power, when he gets up to shake the earth.
(See the 6th seal.)

(22) Don't always talk about people. They only have a breath in their nostrils. They are not worth so much.
