Isaiah Chapter 3:
The Sorry State of Western Civilization
(Children have got out of control today; many are more interested in violent entertainment than learning. Therefore, under-age criminal offenders are a serious threat. Sexual immorality known as the "war of the sexes" seems to turn men into losers.)
O my people, those who tell you how fortunate you are, deceive you and lead you into the wrong direction. (13) The LORD rises to accuse, he is here to judge the peoples. (14) The LORD will come to judge the dignitaries and leaders of his people, "It is you who have destroyed my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses. (15) Why do you crush my people and take advantage of the poor?" declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty. (See Isaiah 1:23)
