History:
Once The First was destroyed, Buffy Summers� reign as The Slayer was done. What more could they really ask from her? With the passing of her powers on to all the potentials the tradition was felt to be lost in a large number of girls who would inherit the job. That was until Dylan became a Slayer.
Dylan Leigh was born in Raleigh, North Carolina where things were slightly uncomplicated. Unaware that she was a potential to the Slayer legacy, Dylan lived her life to the age of 16 until one day her destiny caught up with her. A surge of energy passed through her body, Dylan had never felt better. Soon she would discover things in her life were changing, she had incredible strength, speed, and stamina. She never once questioned her new physical attributes.
One normal day, Dylan would get a visit from a person who would change her life. A retired Watcher would fill Dylan in on everything she needed to know about being a Slayer. Dylan was more than happy to take on the task of slaying vampires. For months Dylan trained with the retired Watcher who never took it upon himself to be her Watcher.
Dylan trained hard and diligently though the vampire threat in Raleigh was non-existent. After graduating from high school, Dylan planned to move to Boston, Massachusetts to start her life as The Slayer, completely unaware of the hundreds of other Slayers in the world. However, Dylan�s training and secrecy towards her training strained her home life.
Finally her family had enough of Dylan�s secrecy and lies demanding that things at home changed. Taking it as a ticket out, Dylan moved to Boston at the age of 17 to pursue a new life. The Watcher who trained her wanted nothing to do with her journey, but recommended her to another young Watcher who could help her.
Once in Boston, Dylan took a job at a bookstore and rented an apartment under a false, older identity. Ready to fight the forces of darkness, Dylan set out to convince her new Watcher to join her in the fight and to make new friends a long the way.
