How do you play Challenge 24?

How to play: Create the number 24 from the four numbers on a game card. You can add, subtract, multiply and divide. Use all four numbers but use each number only once.

Example: One solution to the card shown is:
2 x 4 = 8
8 + 8 = 16
16 + 8 = 24
