Write spelling words 5 times each, make a crossword puzzle, Funbrain, write a story using spelling words from lesson, Grammar Gorillas  The writing block may not meet every day, and activities may be rotated to maintain flexibility.  Some writing samples from individual students will be posted on the website as time permits.  To qualify, pupils must carefully edit their work, type it, and submit it electronically (email, disk, etc.)

Grammar Gorillas, Editing 1 test, and parts of speech quiz on www.funbrain.com are required.  Kids should choose at least one other option.  Students who have Internet access at home have been asked to take the Funbrain tests at home to allow those without Internet access an opportunity to take the tests; however, �day 4� from 3-3:30, kids will have access in the computer lab and can complete the quizzes and work on Compass.
