Now unlike medicines such as antibiotics which you just pop in your mouth and wait 'till they work their magic, transcendental meditation will require some effort on your part. How much? Well that depends on you of course, but at a minimum I would say 40 minutes a day for at least 3-4 weeks before you will start seeing any significant benefits. I managed to fit this in by doing 20 minutes in the morning after I had woken up and had breakfast and 20 minutes at night, just before sleeping. "40 Minutes!?" I hear you yell, but wait, before you hit that back button on your browser and head somewhere else in the world wide wander just think how nice it would be to have those wrists of yours stop tingling and hurting! To finally be rid of the RSI which has plagued you for years!
If you need to work with computers as part of your job and you dread having to touch that keyboard everyday because of the pain it causes, 40 minutes a day wont seem like such a huge investment. Give it a shot, if it doesn't work what have you lost?? Ok ok you've lost 40 minutes a day for 4 weeks! But its worth trying if you've had that pain for years right?
Ok, how do you meditate then? Here we go!
