| MARCH 2001: IN MARCH, THE EAST TEAM OF DISTRICT 5 PROBATION AND PAROLE HAS 537 OFFENDERS. WITH 6 PROBATION AND PAROLE OFFICERS IN THREE COUNTIES , THIS IS AN AVERAGE CASELOAD OF 89.5 CASES PER OFFICER...THE HIGH IS 107 AND THE LOW IS 75. THE TEAM COMPLETED 46 INTAKE INTERVIEWS OF NEW OFFENDERS. 18 PRE SENTENCE AND DELAYED SENTENCE INVESTIGATIONS WERE COMPLETED. 11 PRE PAROLE INVESTIGATIONS WERE DONE. 91 OFFENDERS WERE UA'ED DURING THE MONTH ( 241 SEPERATE TESTS) WITH A POSITIVE UA RATE OF 13.6%..THE DRUGS MOST OFTEN USED WERE MARIJUANA AND COCAINE. 25 OFFENDERS WERE GIVEN "TREATMENT REFERRALS" THIS MONTH AND 37 OFFENDERS WERE " IN " TREATMENT PROGRAMS. 11 OFFENDERS COMPLETED TREATMENT PROGRAMS THIS MONTH. 13 OFFENDERS WERE REFERRED TO EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND 13 WERE ENROLLED AND ATTENDING, 0 HAVE COMPLETED THIS MONTH. 24 VIOLATION REPORTS WERE SUBMITTED TO THE COURTS'....6 OFFENDER'S "ABSCONDED" SUPERVISION THIS MONTH. 6 OTHER'S WERE LOCATED. 397 OFFENDERS WERE CONSIDERED "FULL TIME EMPLOYED" OR 73.9% 325 OFFENDERS WERE CONSIDERED TO HAVE A "STABLE RESIDENCE" OR 60.5% AND 295 OFFENDERS WERE CURRENT ON THEIR "FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS". 8 OFFENDERS WERE RE-ARRESTED FOR "MISDEMEANOR CRIMES" AND 4 WERE RE-ARRESTED FOR NEW FELONIES. OVERALL, THE TEAM AGAIN HAS DONE AN EXTREMELY GOOD JOB IN "PROTECTING THE PUBLIC". OUR OVERALL SUCCESS RATE, THIS MONTH IS 97.8% AND OUR FAILURE RATE IS 2.2% |
| April 2001 Team Report= The East team has 540 cases, with 6 Officers....The overall success rate this month is 97.6%...failure rate is 2.4%...The East team UA'ed 91 seperate offenders, taking 250 seperate tests..We opened 58 new cases this month and completed 92 new and updated case plans..there were 24 positive UA's this month, or 9.6% positive rate...drugs of choice was Marijuana with only minimal results with Cocaine and Benzodiazapine...The East Team completed 36 investigations( including Pre-Parole/Interstate / and Pre-Sentence). 13 Offenders were rearrested for Misdemeanor and Felony charges...this relates to only 2.4% of all offender's. (6) new sex offenders were registered and DNA tested this month. (3) offenders Absconded this month and (6) other's were located and placed in jail. (54) offenders were referred and enrolled in Treatment Programs....75% of all Offenders were full time employed and 58.5% were considered to have a Stable residence. 53.3% were current on the Court ordered Financial obligations.. Overall, We continue to provide "excellent" Public Protection and serve the Offenders we serve.... We continue to provide "excellent" Bang for the Buck, the Public excepts and Deserves.... |
