| District 5's East Team accumulated the following data in June 2001: There were (8) Officers , covering (4) rural Oklahoma Counties. There are 700 active cases on the Team with an average caseload of 87.5 cases per officer. (60) offenders were UA'ed during the month with 209 seperate tests being taken. There were 15 reported "positives" for drugs. Marijuana, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine were the drugs of choice. 389 Offenders were Full time employed during the month. 53 had part-time employment, 36 were full time students, 42 were disabled and supported by Disability , and 21 were retired or homemakers supported by spouses or pension. This month, 69.7% of all Offenders were considered to be self supporting. 83 offenders were involved in Drug and Alcohol treatment. 12 were "in-patient" and 71 were involved in "out-patient treatment. 11.9% of all offenders were involved in Substance Abuse Treatment services. 162 home visits were completed during the month. 9 offenders provided DNA samples due to the nature of their crimes. The East team opened 126 new Probation, Parole, and Interstate Cases this month. 38 cases were closed due to Revocation, Termination, or expiration of sentence. The team completed 30 Investigations this month. These included, Pre-Sentence ; Delayed Sentence; Pre-Parole, and Interstate Investigations. 56 Substance Abuse Assessments were taken and scored. 13 Offenders were arrested during the month. 7 offenders were arrested for commission of new crimes. 6 were violated for "technical" violations ranging from Absconding, failing to report, failure to pay Restitution and failing to complete "special " conditions of Probation. The East team continues to provide excellent Public Safety and re-direction of Offenders' behaviors thru case management and monitoring of Offenders behavior. In June 2001, the East Team achieved a 98.2% success rate.. Taxpayers continue to receive an excellent return on their money thru "quality" supervision services provided by educated , trained, and dedicated professionals.
