| During the month of April 02, the East Team compiled the following data and stats: CASELOADS/CASES: The East Team has 9 Probation and Parole Officers in 4 Counties. We currently serve 750 Felony Offenders with an average caseload of 83.3 Offenders per Officer. We opened 44 new cases during the month and closed only 27. This is a 6.1% increase in cases this month. OFFENDER EMPLOYMENT: 607 Offenders , or 81% of all Offenders would be considered self sufficient or self supporting. 55.6% are Full time employed; 8.8% are Part time employed; 6.6% are involved in school ; 6.6% are disabled or retired and receiving disability or retirement income; and 3.2% are homemakers supported by their spouses. TREATMENT/PROGRAMS: 64 Offenders are involved in programs designed to enhance their education or cognitive skills. 11 Offenders are involved in In-patient Treatment for Substance Abuse and 90 are involved in Out-patient services. 42 Offenders were referred for Programs this month. 69 Offenders were UA'ed this month with 17 having "Positive" results for drugs. This is a 24.6% positive rate.. INVESTIGATIONS/ASSESSMENTS: 19 Pre Sentence and Delayed Sentence Investigations were completed. 13 Pre-Parole residence verifications were done. 14 Interstate investigations were completed. 59 LSI risk assessments were completed and 43 Substance Abuse Assessments were completed. 3 Sex Offenders were registered and 3 DNA samples were provided. 14 Offenders Absconded supervision during the month and 4 were apprehended. ARRESTS/REVOCATIONS: 5 Offenders were revoked or accelerated during the month of April for "new crimes" and Technical violations. 11 Offenders were arrested for new Felony or Misdemeanor crimes . SUCCESS RATE: Our success rate continues to be excellent. Only .014% of all Offenders "Failed" this month by receiving new charges for Felony or Misdemeanor charges. This means that our success rate is 99.9%. My Team continues to provide the Public with excellent "Public" safety and quality professional services for very little money, or approximately $647 per year......Thank You East Team Staff for you hard and dedicated work for the Citizens of Oklahoma...No other funded program provides this "success rate" for the money.....Support us with your Legislator.......
