Using the correct armour for the right job is a must within PlanetSide, pick the wrong one and you could find yourself dead faster then you would want to be. There are two main types of armour available to players in PlanetSide, Mechanized Assault eXosuit (MAX) and four different Infantry Armours.

You gain access to Standard and Agile Armour at all times and to use others you must first get the certification for that armour. Although everytime you spawn you start with Standard Armour on, it is recommended that you always use at least Agile, and save all of your favourites with Agile Armour and not Standard. Although faster, Standard offers much less protection than the Agile Armour.

This section is divided into the Soldier Armours, MAX Armours and Armour run speeds.
