What is PlanetSide?

PlanetSide is a massively multiplayer online first-person shooter (MMOFPS) computer game published by Sony Online Entertainment and released on May 20, 2003. To find out more visit the offical PlanetSide website.

Why is this site called PlanetSide DataBase? I can't find any DataBases.

A DataBase is an organized body of related information, everything here is related to PlanetSide, so although not a typical database of information that has been systematically organised for easy access and analysis by a computer programme, it still is one.

What is the aim of this site?

The end aim of this website is to provide the community of PlanetSide with a one stop site for all of the information they need to be successful within the game, the site will be updated as new features come out.

How often will the site be updated?

To start with every few days as I add new content (the Home page will have all the recent additions), after that only when either new features are released or old ones get changed.

Will reading this site make me a good player?

Well we can't promise anything, you may just naturally suck at this sort of thing. Although the knowledge gained from this site will help, if you couldn't play before, you still won't be able to. Actually you may aswell give up now if we're going to tell the truth, if you had to ask that then there is no hope for you.
