- TYPE VEHICLE
- Any four cylinder vehicles as supplied by American or Foreign manufacturer sold in the USA. No station wagons or vans. Maximum wheelbase is 101 inches, in case of question any type of automobile, track's decision is final.
- All glass headlights, taillights and sideglass must be removed. All interior carpets, head-liners, extra seats must be removed. Dash may be removed and replaced with sheet metal. Steering column may be moved to side for door bar clearance.
- Grills must be removed and replaced with screen or sheet metal.
- All shocks and springs must be mounted in original position. Shocks may be aftermarket but must be bolted in just as the originals. May use spring shackles if they do not exceed 5 inches measured from center of hole to center of hole and be adjustable. Both sides do not have to be bolted even. May use after market springs and must be mounted in original mounting location. Spring buckets may be sized to fit the springs. May make necessary alterations to suspensions to obtain 1 inch positive or negative camber. (Will be checked with framing square). Additional sway bars, pan hard bars and such may be added to the suspension. Lowering blocks may be used. Jacking bolts in the REAR ONLY and is optional. Any change in frame and/or suspension other than the above will be subject to a WEIGHT penalty for each change.
- Manufactured bumpers necessary. May place bar behind bumper. No fabricated bumpers allowed.
- Brake proportion valves may be used.
- Rims may not exceed 10 inches in width. Any offset is okay but ALL rims on the car must have the same offsett in width. Tires may be slicks or grooved economy series tires not to exceed 10.5inches across the face after the race. Spacers may be used for tire clearance, but must use same thickness on both sides of the same axle. (Ex: Right rear and left rear: right front and left front.)
MUST RUN TRACK TIRE.
- Tires must not exceed 6 inches outside of the body. Fenders may be flared to cover tires.
- Sheet metal may be removed inside of car for replacement of roll bars. Must maintain suitable sheet metal for protection of driver. Driver to be enclosed with sheet metal optional.
- All cars must be painted with numbers on both sides of door and roof. Numbers must be a minimum of 16 inches high. Roof numbers must be read from outside of track.
- No wings of any type. May use 3 inch high and 60 inch wide spoiler only. Spoiler will be measured from trunk to tips of spoiler. No Plexiglas in passenger window.
- Bodies - metal stock production or fiberglass after market (must be stock appearing). No modified, offset or flatside bodies.
- No external bars or rub rails (nurf bars) of any kind.
- MOTOR / TRANSMISSION / REARENDS
- Maximum of 4 cylinders in line, 16 valves, not to exceed 2500cc and must be stock for model being used. (Ford 2300+.060, 2500 std)(Toy 2400 +0.60) May use dual overhead cam.
- Headers allowed.
- Stock production intake only, no porting matching or polishing. Up to 1 inch spacer plate may be used to mount carburetor. (Does not include gasket) Gasket may not be more than 0.65 thick.
- May lock distributor advance.
- 500 HoIley cfm carb or smaller(must have 500 cfm base). May remove choke and/or air horn. Must pass bore gauge test!
- Cams may be solid or hydraulic. No roller cams.
- Stock production heads only. Heads must have casting marks. Three-angle valve jobs. May resurface. No porting or polishing of head. No port matching or cutting under valves. No cutting for oversize valves or springs. Valve size 1.800 intake and 1.500 exhaust. No porting intake manifold.
- Stock design pistons (may cut valve relief), stock production rods, cranks and blocks. Blocks may be bored and decked. Bore and stroke must remain stock for engine being used. No stroking or de-stroking the engine.
- Three, four and five speed transmission or automatic (must have stock torque converter).
- Flywheel steel only 11 lbs minimum/Sock type clutch.
- No alcohol for fuel. NO NITROUS OXIDE.
- Oil cooler optional with remote filter.
- Minimum weight for cars shall be 2250 lbs. with the driver.
- Truck weight shall be 2000 lbs. with driver and motor not to exceed 2600 cc's. All safety rules apply the same. Trucks must use truck frame and suspension or they will have to weight 2250 with car chassis.
- May make only necessary modifications to intake to accept Holley 2-barrell carburetor.
- Exhaust may exit either side of the car.
- SAFETY
- DOT approved helmets mandatory and fire suit required.
- Roll cage minimum 1.5tubing. Three door bars with gussets in driver and passenger doors. Loop bar behind driver. One horizontal bar across dash from side to side. Bars must be welded from main hoop bar to go through to trunk and around fuel cell for protection. Front bar may be used around engine compartment to protect engine and radiator. At least three bars in the drivers area of the windshield.
- Fire extinguisher with gauge in reach of driver mounted for easy removal.
- Fuel cell required and installed in metal box. A firewall must be between driver and fuel cell.
- Protective screen or windshield. Three metal bars will be mandatory.
- Racing seat required. Racing seat belts required. Must have 3" lap belt and 2" shoulder harness minimum. Belts must be securely fastened to main roll cage.
- Mirror must be inside of car.
- Must have drive shaft loop.
- All ballast must be painted white with the car number on it.
- PROTEST RULE
- A driver must file protest for engine violation only. Time limit is 15 minutes after the checkered flag. Protest shall be accompanied by ? cash only fee and item being protested. If engine is found legal the fee of ? goes to the driver being protested and ? to the point fund.
- Driver may protest only the car that finishes ahead of him or her.
- Track retains the right to protest any vehicle deemed to be illegal. Any vehicle found to be illegal will automatically lose all points and money for the event. If any driver is found to be illegal twice in a single season said driver will lose all points received up to that time.
- GENERAL
- Any item not covered in ths set of rules does not mean it is legal to use.
- CHASIS
- Uni-bodied chasis 2250 lbs after race with driver. No fuel maybe added.
- Stright framed chasis made of tubing front to rear-2400 lbs after race with driver. No fuel maybe added for weight.
- Offset framed chasis 52% left side weight ruel to apply. Must weight 2550 lbs with driver at the end of the race. No fuel maybe added.
