Conclusion

It is a fact that the Internet and World Wide Web (WWW) technology is being used as a tool in the normal communication. This is also being used in distance education. Because of this access, distance education is very flexible; however, it is not ideal for most young students who are not as responsible or developed as more mature university/college students. Instructors do not have the time or resources to anticipate the permutations of options that a learner may choose and produce cohesive, good/quality variations of courses available to reflect those options. can isolate children, as they would be sitting by their computer for many hours without any outside contact. Distance education for K-12 students could be a danger in the long run, because children sometimes lack motivation. If parents are not there to guide their children, there is the possibility of them not getting educated at all. Technology is growing so fast that more and more people are going to use distance learning. Perhaps one day, there will be a decrease in regular schooling. Getting an education is not the only reason to go to school. Students have to interact with other students and develop social skills especially in younger years. Effective distance education requires the integrated interest, participation, and enthusiasm of faculty, students, facilitators, supporting staff, and administrators; however, even if all of these people are involved, there are still many problems with the distance learning system.
