This trip took place in November of 2004 and it was amazing. The turnout was great; 30 people and 5 boats crossing the clear Lousios' waters. The river is close to Tripoli, in Arcadia and the sightseeing was incredible. Through this wild nature, trees and rocks, you forget the other jungle we live everyday, the city. The stone bridges make you wonder about the technology and architecture of our ancestors.
The fun does not stop on the river. After the rafting we all went to the local tavern in Ellinikon and food was delicious. That energy boost was necessary!
Afterwards, the night was topped of with a warm hot chocolate and as our batteries were running low, we journeyed off to our hotel room.

The best time to go rafting is Spring because there is much more water.
