| The dataset is coded with regard to several variables, including county, reference source, size, and method of construction. There's also a keyword box to include entries for other variables, such as hands, feet, transparent shields and historic associations. In an attempt to prevent vandalism to important rock art sites, no detailed locational information is provided. If researchers require such information, they should contact their State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) for more information. |
