I've come to the conclusion that most men don't want a girlfriend. They want a mommy. As Sophia said in Vanilla Sky, I don't have a mother savior bone in my body. I would love to meet someone who has their collective shit together. Just for once.

LOTR fan fiction story fin!

I finished up my very first LOTR fan fiction story last week. I'm so proud of myself, I never finish anything!

It's so weird, I've been thinking about this murder case that happened seven years ago for the past couple of days. The Kentucky Vampire Clan murders. I remember being 15 (almost 16) and seeing this story featured on 20/20. Funny the things your mind fixates itself on.

My co-worker is such a psycho. First of all, she has three autistic children. I have always been in awe of her strength, and she must be really strong to have to deal with that day in and day out and still keep a smile on her face especially since her only break away from all that is work and when her children are at school. So, needless to say, she gets really agitated when the kids aren't able to go to school.

I brought up the fact that it's supposed to snow today into tomorrow and she totally flipped out. It was actually kind of funny. I knew she would react that way so I had to stifle my giggles.

Very disturbing indeed

No money, no car really, no cable (Gah!!) so I'm relegated to the primetime channels and PBS. That scary cooking lady, Julia Childs is on late at night and me and Brad were cracking up! She sounds just like Yoda.

I kept waking up every 4 hours today so I feel like crap. Really tired like I've had no sleep at all.

No Subject

Each visit to the Yahoo homepage was extra special today. They had an ad for Viggo Mortensen's new movie displayed all day. *sigh*

Christmas in February

Ugh. I don't feel so hot. For the past couple of days I've been spiking a fever. I don't have any other symptoms of sickness, I just start feeling really hot and tired and I had a hard time catching my breath this evening after I woke up from my nap.

Since my grandmother was in the hospital during Christmas we finally got together as a family yesterday and exchanged gifts. I sat by her the whole time and never really left her side. She looks a lot better but since the surgery her symptoms from the stroke she had years ago have started surfacing again. She can't really balance, she sees double, some nerve damage has sprung up again.
