I was born in Pontiac, Michigan on September 21 (don't even think of asking me what year!.) I have always wanted to teach. In fact, I wanted to teach so much that I returned to college as an adult to get my teaching degree. My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to love learning.

I believe that every child is special; that every child has talents and abilities that make him or her gifted. I believe that learning should be a fun and exciting process of discovery. I believe that an education and a positive self-concept are the most important gifts we can give our children. I believe that parents play a critical role in the educational, social and intellectual development of the child; and that we are in this together.
