About this Website
This website, Developing Theology, is a project intended to put forth a "developing" yet coherent picture of the world, from a Christian perspective, and resting on the Bible as the foundation of that theological reflection and formulation.  The work contained here is my own.  You will notice that on a number of the pages, bibliographic citations are incomplete, and some notes are missing.  This has been done intentionally.  I have in all cases left quotation marks around content which is not my own, and have tried to give credit where it is due.  On the other hand, I have left the information incomplete so as to make it nearly impossible for someone to pass off work that is contained on this site as their own, without going to a lot of trouble to track down the necessary footnote material, which would otherwise be a glaring absence if it were to be turned in.  I would be more than happy to respond to any request and give more complete citations for any quotation or for any article.  Please feel free to email me with all requests at [email protected].

The material contained on this website is also free to be quoted or linked to. I would consider it an honor.  I would simply appreciate a notice by email if you intend to place a link.  I would also be happy to provide name and other data if you intend to cite my work in a paper or other medium.  With these concerns, or any other, feel free to email me at [email protected].

Statement of Faith
Here we outline the content of the faith that we have sought to proclaim through this web site. It makes explicit, in outline form, the faith which we have sought to investigate and deepen in the various expositions and investigations on this site. It seeks to be deliberately ecumenical, asserting clearly the essential content of the faith while also acknowledging some of the remaining disagreements among the Church and the churches. This mirrors the outlook of this web site as a whole.
