The final Research Project created in June 2012 for IT-210 is a managerial report that addresses specific business issues within a company and recommends strategic IT solutions for the organization. The purpose of the research project was to demonstrate our ability to leverage technology and develop successful business strategies. The research paper outlined some of the ways that technology is being used in various business sectors ranging from design and manufacturing, to sales, logistics, and distribution.

The attached research project provides sufficient background on the organization; recommends effective ways to incorporate IT solutions into the existing business model; and identifies how the organization can leverage these solutions to their advantage. Interpersonal communication skills were required to effectively communicate the IT solutions, as well as, demonstrate the strategic implications to the business and how these solutions can promote the organizations success.

The research project was an excellent way of discovering the various ways IT can be used to strengthen a business’s brand, increase customer loyalty, raise barriers of entry to reduce new competition, and automate various business processes to increase efficiency and profitability. The various business strategies covered can be used as is, or as a basis for developing new and changing business models to promote success in any organization.
