I originally designed the 'Mad-Hatter' as a type of self-caricature while bored at work one day using MS Paint. I kept playing around with it and eventually hit on the one on the right. I was very pleased with the result and began to us it as my sort of 'logo'. The 'Mad-Hatter' outfit was based on the clothes i wore most regularly at the time, as well as an insane hat (See below where each item is explain). So if you ever thought "that picture's cool, i'd like to dress-up like that", here is the official guide.

About
The 'Mad-Hatter' logo (above right) is actually like a 'Mad-Hatter mk2'. Originally the hat was coloured green. The reason for the hat was that i tried on one of those Irish style novelty hats (see below) and thought, although ridiculous, it was rather snazzy - maybe that sums up my style? As well as that i am also very fond of the tea party scene in Disney's Alice In Wonderland as the Mad-Hatter (who's hat is also green - see below) and the March Hare are superb. In the end i decided to change the hat colour for style reasons to purple as i thought it looked better. There is also a fair change your hair is not as long as mine, so a wig may be required.

Like the hat, the T-Shirt didn't start out the colour it is above. It was actually more of a khaki green, which was based on the colour of my faviorite T-shirt (an Animal one which has a VW bus with flames on it - see below). I decided to make it a more bold green to make the design stand out a bit more, which i think looks a bit better.
The trousers are supposed to be a pair of flared cords. Their colour is a cross between the colour of the two pairs of cords i had at the time i designed 'Mad-Hatter': a sandy light brown pair of 'Pop' cords (see see below) and a pair of darker brown 'Road' ones.
The shoes are my pair of Converse All-Star Flames (below). Supposedly the shoe (as opposed to the boot) version of these are Limited Edition, and i was lucky to get a pair. I wore them so much for such a long time that they almost became my trademark. They're pretty wrecked now but i do still wear them now and again as they are truely superb.
