Music Quiz
Music is one of the most important things to me. My parents ensured I was listening to good music pretty much since I was born and since a young age I've had a taste for it. They always had a vast CD and Vinyl collection and now I can say the same. One of my favourite possessions is my big-ass 60GB iPod - so I can always have my music collection with me when on my various travels in to the real world.

If you ask someone what type of music they're in to, ninety nine times out of a hundred they'll say "oh, a bit of everything". But about 80% of these people are just plain lying - actually meaning 'anything between trash and death metal' or 'rave and techno'. Not that there is anything overly wrong with knowing what you like, but I believe that there is a world of great music out there and dipping you're toe in a bit of everything is the best way. When asked I'd usually say "Mostly rock...like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath etc" - just to give a slightly more interesting answer, but in reality I do actually listen to a wide range of music. Certainly my favourite genre of music would be guitar based bands (Rock, Grunge, as well as some Metal and Punk). Some of my favourite bands would be:  Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Rage Against The Machine, The Jimi Hendix Experience (but the list is massive). I'm a big Michael Jackson fan - who really is a genre of excellence all to himself, probably the best and most influential musical entertainer of the last century. I also like 'electronic/sampling/dance stuff': Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Kraftwerk, DJ Shadow, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, and Scooter for the cheese! I wouldn't call myself a rap fan, but I would listen to the creme: (Rage Against The Machine again of course), Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, Tupac, Dr Dre, Eminem, and a lot of old skool Hip Hop. I also like a lot of Singer/Songwriter music, old Blues, Folk, Reggie, Traditional Irish, even a bit of big-hitting classical can be good on occasion.

Here is my page of
song lyrics which I though were worth a mention. As I like designing I also really like music imagery. Below are some music related pictures, band links, and a 10-question music quiz i designed, give it a go.
