| The gang are pummeling some vampires when Buffy pops in and dusts one. But it is only the Buffy-bot. The next day, the Buffy-bot is malfunctioning but Willow is on it. Dawn takes the Buffy-bot to Parent Teacher Night where the Buffy-bot is a instant teacher's pet. Anya and Giles fight. Giles keeps saying he is leaving but never does and Anya is eager to be handed the shop. Xander stops them. Anya is anxious to announce her engagement but Xander keeps putting it off since it is so near Buffy's death. Buffy-bot chases a vamp. Scared he smashes a bottle at her and she short circuits. Buffy-bot malfunctions walking into the wall repeatedly while the vampire runs eager to spread the new that Sunnydale is Slayerless. The gang minus Giles, Spike and Dawn discuss the preparations for resurrecting Buffy. Willow in convinced that Buffy could be trapped in some hell dimension. Meanwhile the vampire spills the news to a demon gang the Hellions who are happy to take over Sunnydale. Willow sits in the woods, a fawn appears and Willow kills it for it is one of the ingredients of the spell. The gang find a note from Giles who has left for England saying he didn't want a big goodbye. The gang rush there and give him goodbye gifts. That night the Willow, Anya, Tara and Xander sit in a circle around Buffy's grave. Willow commences the spell and cuts appear on her arms. She then throws up a snake from inside as energy circles around her. The Hellions are greeted by Buffy-bot who is overpowered and damaged. Programmed to return to Willow she runs but is followed by the demons. The gang are surrounded by the demons as are forced to run. The spell is broken and cannot be done again. Unknowingly in her coffin, Buffy is resurrected and her eyes snap open. The Buffy-bot fails to fight against the demons. The gang are separated hiding in the woods. Willow sobs thinking the spell didn't work as Buffy thrashes around in her coffin. Spike protects Dawn as the Hellions destroy the town. Buffy's hand bursts from the ground, she is dazed and confused. The gang realize that everyone knows that Buffy is dead. The gang decide to look for Dawn and Spike. The Hellions have captured the Buffy-bot and tied her to two bikes. Buffy walks around dazed just to see the Buffy-bot pulled apart as the bikes race in different directions then runs off. Dawn and Spike find the remains of the Buffy-bot. the Buffy-bot mentions about Buffy to Dawn who then rushes off. The gang find Buffy and think she is the Buffy-bot but then realize. They are cornered by the Hellions but Buffy fights them off. The gang find that she is traumatized and doesn't recognize any of them as she runs away. Still stunned Buffy stands on the tower where she leapt off reliving what happened. Dawn finds her and coaxes her back when the tower begins to topple. Buffy recognizes Dawn and saves them both. Buffy is still stunned as Dawn hugs her. | |

| The Hellions have left since their leader is dead. Spike finds Dawn at home and quickly realizes that it is the real Buffy. He sees that she scratched her way out of her grave just like he did. The gang come home and rush to Buffy. Spike leaves angrily that he was left out. He then tells them that the thing about magic is there are always consequences. The gang are unsure because of Buffy's dazed behavior whether Buffy is really back. Buffy is strangely quiet and distracted. That night Buffy sees a photo of her friends and their faces become skeletons. Meanwhile Willow tells Tara that she thought that Buffy would thank her. Possessed Buffy attacks Tara and Willow. A possessed Anya attacks Xander. They find that a demon hitchhiked with Buffy when she was brought back to hell. Buffy is determined to destroy it. A possessed Dawn breathes fire at the gang. Buffy visits Spike. Willow discovers that the demon is a side effect of the spell but it will disappear after a while unless it kills Buffy. However unknowningly next to her was a possessed Xander who thanks her for the information. At home Buffy is attacked by the demon. He punches pass through it but the demon is able to hurt her. Willow and Tara do a spell to make the demon physical. Anya and Xander arrive just as Buffy kills it. Next day Buffy tries to get back at normal routine by sending Dawn to school. She then thanks the gang for resurrecting her and walks out. Outside Spike is sitting in the shade. He tells her that he knows how hell can be just as she interrupts saying that she was in heaven. She walks into the sun leaving him gaping saying that the gang can never know. | |

Buffy can face demons yet still has plumbing problems. The plumber charges Buffy a hefty price. Anya suggests she charge people for slaying demons. Buffy finds out she's broke and tries to get a loan. The loan officer says she cannot get a loan since she has no income. A demon bursts in while three sets of hands clean out the cash registers. Buffy defeats the demon and it escapes. Buffy is shocked that afterwards the officer still refuses to give her a loan. At a hideout the demon returns to his employer, three 'super villians' Warren, Jonathon and Andrew. The demon is given the address of the Slayer as the trio gape at their money. Giles is back and glad that Buffy is alive. He confronts Willow about resurrecting Buffy saying she is playing with too much dark magic. Willow retorts back that Giles better not piss her off since she's so powerful. The M'Fashnik demon bursts in to kill Buffy. He wrecks some of the furniture. Buffy then gets Spike to take him into the basement as she doesn't have enough money to pay for the repairs. In the basement the demon smashes the repaired pipes. Furious Buffy drowns the demon in the flooded basement. Giles and Anya are prepared to give Buffy the help and advice to pay for some of these bills but is interrupted by a call from Angel who has found out she is alive. Buffy leaves to see Angel. |

| Buffy returns from seeing Angel. Giles then proposes what Buffy is going to do for the rest of her life. She decides to continue school with Willow. In her new classes she finds she is way behind and can't seem to understand anything. The trio plan to test the Slayer against each of their specialties. Warren decides to use one of his inventions. Warren bumps into Buffy putting a tiny chip on her back. She then starts having time lapses. Everyone and everything moves at a rapid speed while she fails to keep up at her normal speed. She finds the device but it self-destructs before Buffy can inspect it. She then decides to get a job with Xander in construction making use of her Slayer strength. The gang are unsure whether Buffy imagined the time lapses. She soon shows the other workers that just because she's a girl doesn't mean she can't carry heavy tonnes. However Andrew uses his speciality in summoning demons. Three demons attack Buffy. During the battle the framework is damaged and the demons melt away giving Buffy no excuse at all. Xander is forced to fire her. Buffy then tries to work at the Magic Box. Jonathon uses a spell to create a time loop until Buffy can satisfy a customer. A woman orders a Mummy Handn which is unfortunately alive and attacks Buffy. Buffy hands it to the lady in pieces. The scene flashes and the woman enters again. Confused at first Buffy soon gets the gist that she has to satisfy the customer to stop the time loop. After many attempts she finally satisfies her by giving her a delivery order saying they'll send it to her. After Buffy's day she gets drunk with Spike at a bar. When she leaves she notices a black van she's seen all through her day. Jonathon turns into a demon and gets pummeled while the other two drive off and pick him up later. Buffy returns home. Giles surprises her with a check to cover the bills for now. Buffy thanks him knowingly he will always be there for her. | |

Another Halloween draws a huge crowd into the Magic Box. Meanwhile a creepy old man hums and examines his butcher knife. Xander and Anya finally announce their engagement and the gang throw a party. Tara is annoyed when Willow uses magic to fill the house with decorations. Dawn says she's sleeping over at her friend Janice's house but then sneaks out with Janice for some partying with two guys Zack and Justin. Justin likes Dawn. Dawn volunteers for a prank to smash a pumpkin on the old man's door. The old man appears scaring her but they are strangely invited in. Once in they look around nervously. Justin helps the old man in the kitchen. The old man picks up the knife and turns around just to be drained by Justin who is a vampire. The gang find out from Janice's mum that the teens have tricked them both. Willow and Tara go to the Bronze to look. Meanwhile the four teens are in a var. Janice and Zack run off making out leaving Dawn with Justin. Justin gives Dawn her first kiss. Tara is even more angry when Willow suggests using magic to transport everyone over 16yrs old into a alternate dimension for a second so they can find Dawn easier. The two start fighting. Justin vamps out in the middle of their make out. Buffy enlists Spike's help. Giles finds Zack feeding on Janice and dusts him. He finds Dawn with Justin who is about to bite her. Suddenly other vampires appear along with Buffy and Spike. They all fight. Justin chases Dawn intent on turning her. Upset Dawn manages to dust the only guy she's ever kissed. Back at home Giles says they should talk to Dawn about lying to them. Giles is about to leave Buffy to deal with Dawn. Buffy rushes off assuming that Giles will take that responsibility. Willow casts a spell on Tara to make her forget about their fight. |

| The gang go about their normal day. At night, Buffy suddenly starts singing while dusting some vampires and demons. She sings about how she can't feel and has lost her spark to live. Next day, the gang reveal that they all sang last night when they start singing all together. They sing about theories to the cause of their singing. Anya interrupts their theories with her rock hit about bunnies. Buffy then stops their researching to sing about why they should care. They've fought apocalypses and died, so why should they care. After their singing they find the rest of the town singing as well. Dawn comes from school and steals a talisman from he magic shop. Willow and Tara run off from the research to make out. Outside Tara starts singing about how Willow made her life complete. That night a man is tap dancing and burst into flames. Anya and Xander wake up and start singing about their love. It reaches the point where they start singing about each other's bad habits. Buffy goes to Spike's for information. He starts singing about how he loves Buffy and how she hates him in a rock number. Dawn mentions Tara and Willow's fight to Tara who doesn't remember. Tara runs off and dawn starts singing. She puts on the talisman and suddenly is captured by some evil puppets. She wakes and does a ballet escape from the puppets. She then meets Sweet a demon who claims she summoned him and must now return with him to hell to be his queen. He finds out that Buffy is the Slayer and commands his henchmen to tell Buffy that they have Dawn. Giles is training with Buffy and finds that she still hasn't talked to Dawn about Halloween. He starts singing about how he must leave so Buffy can grow up. Tara finds out that Willow cast a spell on her. Giles and Tara both sing about how they must leave Buffy and Willow. Spike comes with a henchmen. Giles insists that Buffy defeat the demon herself. Every starts singing in different places. Alone Buffy walks to the Bronze while the gang eventually go after her. Buffy confronts the demon and offers to exchange places with Dawn. She does a pop number about life as the gang come in. She reveals to them that they took her from heaven and bursts into rapid dance movements with smoke rising. She is suddenly stopped by Spike who tells her to live. Sweet is about to leave with Dawn when Xander reveals he is the one who summoned him. Sweet gives a little song then leaves them with the truth of each other's song. They all sing about how lost they are now, unsure of where they go from here. Spike realizes what he is doing in mid verse and leaves. Buffy goes after him and the two starts singing their own song finding they have a similar tune. They then kiss. | |

Spike confronts Buffy about their kiss when attacked by a demon who says Spike owes him some kittens. The gang are talk about Buffy's revelation. Willow suggests a memory spell and Tara is furious. She confronts Willow about using a spell on her and that she wants to break up. Upset Willow promises that she'll prove herself by not doing magic for a week. Next morning Willow hurries to go. When every one is gone she uses magic to get ready. She then does a memory spell on Tara and Buffy which will come into effect when the crystal turns black. Meanwhile Buffy is upset that Giles is leaving. Spike rushes in dressed like a nerd as he is hiding. The crystal turns black and they all fall asleep. When they wake they remember nothing- the spell has gone wrong. Willow and Xander find out who they are from their licenses and assume they are a couple since they woke up all over each other. Anya and Giles assume they are married and own the Magic Box. Spike finds he is British and his name is Randy. He assumes that he is Giles's son. Buffy can't figure her name so she dubs herself Joan. Dawn and Buffy figure they are sisters. Leaving to the hospital they are shocked to find vampires who are hired by the demon. Stunned there are vampires they hear they calling for Spike. Thinking they want spikes 'Randy' finds some stakes. They burst in and 'Randy' gives them the stakes. 'Joan' dusts one easily and is deduces that she is a superhero. The Willow, Xander, Tara and Dawn go in the sewers while 'Joan' and 'Randy' lead the vampires away. Anya and Giles stay to look up some spells that may help them. During a fight 'Randy' vamps out. Anya and Giles accidentally conjure up monsters and bunnies. Willow, Xander, Tara and Dawn run from vampires in the sewers. 'Joan' tells 'Randy' that he is a vampire and he assumes that he is a good vampire with a soul while 'Joan' scoffs at that lame idea. Giles and Anya get rid of the monsters and they kiss. Willow drops the crystal and Xander steps on it. They all get their memory back and Tara realizes what Willow did and she cries. Anya and Giles remember in the middle of the kiss and spend the rest of the time obsessively cleaning the shop. Buffy storms off from Spike. Tara leaves as Willow cries. Buffy and Spike make out in the Bronze. Giles leaves on the plane. |

Buffy blows off Spike about their kiss again. Feeling lonely Willow manages to de-rat Amy. At the museum the trio steal a diamond and use their freeze ray to stop a guard. Amy catches up with Willow and Buffy. Buffy goes to investigate the frozen guard. She encounters Spike. Angry she hits him and he hits her back. Shockingly he doesn't feel pain but feigns it anyway. Thinking the chip is malfunctioning he attacks a human but the chip still works. The gang research the diamond and Willow uses magic again to search the internet. Spike goes to the trio to figure out why his chip works on some humans and not on others. Willow and Amy go out for some fun. They then start using magic at the Bronze on people to make it more interesting. Warren tells Spike that the chip is fine. Spike concludes that if there's is nothing wrong with him there must be something wrong with Buffy. Spike sets up some music and drinks to invite Buffy over. Buffy, Xander and Anya talk about how Willow has a taste for power now. Buffy is confronted by Spike who hits her. Shocked he feels no pain, Spike then announces that she came back wrong. They fight. Amy and Willow continue playing with the crowd turning some into animals or making them do crazy dances. Spike and Buffy continue to fight in a abandoned house. The walls start to crack from their fighting when Buffy starts kissing Spike. They make out not noticing the house crumbling around them. |

Dawn and Tara wake finding neither Buffy or Willow came home last night. Buffy wakes up naked with Spike in the crashed building horrified at what she's done. She tries to leave but starts kissing him. Willow and Amy come home. Tara hears about Willow using her magic for fun and leaves upset. Buffy and Willow then crash leaving Dawn without breakfast and feeling forgotten. Willow finds her magic exhausted. Later the gang research about the diamond as they talk about Willow's magic. Amy shows Willow a hidden place where Rack a warlock does dark magic. He does a dark spell with Amy and Willow that gives them a euphoric feeling while leaving them exhausted. Dawn and Willow go out for a movie. Buffy comes home and finds Amy stealing stuff. Amy tells Buffy about Willow being addicted to Rack's magic. Buffy is shocked that Willow took Dawn. Willow takes Dawn to Rack's leaving her in the waiting room. Willow gets wasted and sees a vision of a demon interrupting her spell. When she comes out, Dawn is angry as it has been 3 hrs. Buffy enlists Spike's help to find Dawn. Dawn is scared and wants to go home but Willow refuses dazed from the spell. The demon from her vision attacks them but they drive away. High on the spell, Willow drives into a tree. Injured Dawn gets out only to be attacked by the demon. Buffy comes to the rescue. Willow uses a spell to blow him up. Buffy and Spike rush to Dawn as Willow realizes what she has done. Angry Dawn slaps Willow leaving her crying on the ground. Dawn and Spike leave as Buffy angrily confronts Willow. Later Dawn is okay and Willow swears to give up magic. Buffy agrees silently swearing to give up seeing Spike. |

Willow clears away all her magic stuff. Dawn is angry at both Willow and Buffy. Spike pops by and moves in on Buffy until Xander laughs at him saying that only a loser would go out with Spike. A social worker pops by the house unexpectedly just as Dawn rushes out of the house late and angry. The social worker is even more worried when she sees Willow's herbs and thinks they are drugs. She then sees Spike and thinks that he is Buffy's boyfriends when he asks for his blanket. Buffy assures her that she doesn't live with anyone but Dawn just as Willow calls her. The social worker leaves convinced that Buffy is some nut. Upset Buffy is confronted by Spike. Angry she runs up stair and cries looking at herself in the mirror. Frustrated she cuts her hair with scissors. The trio have assembled their invisibility ray. Buffy gets her hair cut and leaves just as the trio accidentally fires it at her. Buffy shows off her new invisiblity to Anya and Xander. She goes out. Xander suspects this happened because of one of Willow's spells. Willow struggles to not use magic as Xander wrongly accuses her. Buffy plays around with people then heads to the social workers department for revenge. She makes the social worker seem insane to her boss so the Summers case is handed to someone else. Xander and Willow downtown find some other objects that are invisible. Buffy pays Spike a visit. Anya and Xander discover a invisible item has started turning into nothing and hurry to warn Buffy that it could be same for her. Xander finds a naked Spike 'working out' in his bed. Buffy is kicked out by Spike. Buffy meets Dawn who is horrified at how unconcerned Buffy is. Buffy hear a warning from Xander about the effects. Willow finds the trio's hideout but is kidnapped. Buffy meets them at the arcade where they use the ray to reverse the effects. However Willow notices that the ray is set to kill her. Buffy fights against the invisible trio while Willow turns them back revealing their identity. They then run off. Buffy tells Willow that when she heard Xander's message she was actually scared about dying. |

Buffy announces she is working at the Double Meat Palace. Decked out in a cheesy uniform she goes for her first day. After a graphic video on the productions of Double Meat Palace Buffy is shown around by Manny the Manager. She notices that the employees are dazed and takes note that many employees don't last very long here. She attempts to serve some customers including a family and a old lady. She explores the freezer but is stopped by Manny who warns her that she shouldn't be so nosy. The gang show up but aren't convinced that Buffy's instincts about the place is right. Spike shows up but Buffy blows him off. A worker Gary is about to leave but is attacked by something. Next day Buffy notices Gary gone. Buffy works on the grill as a worker announces 'new meat' has just come in. Xander is confronted by a demon Halfrek who soon turns out to be old friends with Anya. Buffy finds that some of the last employees didn't take their stuff- they just disappeared. Spike and Buffy make out. Buffy finds a finger in the pile of meat and confronts Manny. She runs out telling the customers that the secret ingredient is human meat. Willow tells Amy to leave her alone since she is giving up magic. Amy goes but not before giving Willow a little dose of Magic. Buffy takes some of the meat for Willow to analyse. Xander eats some before hearing that it may be human meat. Buffy finds Manny's foot. Willow discovers that the secret ingredient isn't human meat but vegetable. Buffy encounters the real killer. It is the old lady who is actually a slimy demon. They fight but Buffy is paralyzed by the demon's venom. Willow helps Buffy and they manage to push the demon through meat grinder. Next day Buffy is about to resign when the new manager says that the secret ingredient is vegetable. She offers to keep Buffy as a worker if Buffy will keep the ingredient a secret. |

Buffy and Spike are getting it on. Buffy is worried about her addiction with Spike. The trio have created a globe called the Cerebral Dampener that can turn any woman into their loyal sex slave. Tara visits Buffy at Double Meat Palace. Buffy tells Tara that Spike can hurt her and Tara agrees to check if the resurrection spell has any side effects. Jonathon and Andrew sit in the van with a camera while Warren looks around at which woman they should try their new toy on. He spots his ex Katrina and uses it on her. Back at their lair Katrina is dressed up in a waitress uniform obeying their every command. However the dampener starts to wear off. Angry she tries to go to the police but Warren stops her by knocking her out with a bottle. She hits the concrete floor dead. Scared that they've committed murder Warren proposes a way to get rid of the body and Buffy at the same time. The gang are out at the Bronze. Spike tempts Buffy to join him in the darkness. She goes out and finds a Rwasundi demon attacking a girl-Katrina. Suddenly Buffy finds her self hearing voices as the monster disappears and appears. Spike appears then is gone. The same scene starts again as Buffy tries to fight the monster. In the confusion she hits the girl-Katrina. Shocked she finds she has killed Katrina. Spike gets her out of there as 'Katrina' looks on from behind a tree. 'Katrina' tells the trio that it's done and turns back into Jonathon. Buffy has nightmares about her fight with Katrina and tells Dawn that she must go to the police. Dawn says she doesn't care since Buffy around much anyway. Spike stops Buffy as she walks to the police. She beats him up. She then overhears at the station that the victim was Katrina and figures that Warren and the trio must have something to do with this. The gang find out that the trio must have conjured the Rwasundi demon who can cause a time lapses. Buffy realizes she is innocent as the trio realize proudly that they got away with murder. Tara tells Buffy that there is nothing wrong with her. Buffy doesn't believe that thinking that she would never be with Spike. She confesses to Tara about her relationship with Spike. |

| Buffy cancels plans with Dawn to slay a demon. She returns with the demon's sword. Willow nervously invites Tara to Buffy's birthday party. Alone Dawn reveals she has been shoplifting things including a leather jacket. Dawn tells her new guidance counselor Hallie that she feels really alone and she wishes that everyone would stop leaving her. At the party, Anya has invited Sophie a worker from Double Meat Palace and Richard whom is Buffy's blind date. Spike shows up with a pig like demon Clem. Buffy blows off Spike's advances. Buffy opens her presents including Dawn's. It's the leather jacket with a security tag still on. Dawn explains just as Xander shows Buffy a new weapon's chest he made. Buffy immediately drops Dawn's present to look at Xander's. The guidance counselor Hallie is outside and turns into vengeance demon Halfrek. Richard flirst with Buffy annoying Spike. Dawn is happy that all the gang are here. When the party's over they find they are physically unable to leave the house. Willow is tempted to use magic to help but Tara then volunteers instead. However it conjures up the demon that Buffy killed before from the sword. It attacks them. Dawn confesses to wishing that nobody would leave her. Buffy deduces that the 'wish' must have been granted by a vengeance demon. Anya interrupts saying that she found some of Dawn's stolen stuff from the Magic Box. Anya is angry that Dawn would do this. Dawn remember the guidance counselor was wearing a necklace. Anya conjures Halfrek up just as Halfrek gets sliced by the demon. Buffy figures the power of the demon is in the sword and snaps it and it disappears. halfrek comes back to life saying that she granted Dawn's wish because she felt sorry for Dawn. Halfrek undoes the spell. The others leave but Buffy stays with Dawn realizing how much she has ignored Dawn. | |

| After work Buffy heads home. To her shock a vampire runs away when they smell her. Buffy meets Spike for a little rendezvous before going in. Dawn and Willow go out. Anya and Xander are worried about their wedding. Buffy spends the night cleaning her coat. Buffy is working when she sees Riley. Shocked he tells her there's something big going on and they need her. Speechless she follows him out. He explains there's a Suvolte Demon in town and it's breeding fast. The two follow the demon. They catch up on how they've been. At the dam the two fight the demon when a brunette walks up asking why Buffy is rolling around with her husband. Sam, Riley's wife fights the demon until Buffy steps in and snaps its head. However now they can't track it to its nest. The three go home while Riley tries to explain to Buffy about his wife. The gang greet Riley and Sam. Willow tells Buffy that she is fully prepared to hate this woman. The couple explain the mission. There is a dealer called the Doctor in town who is dealing the eggs to the black market. Buffy notices how much Riley and Sam love each other. Sam asks Willow to do a spell but Willow gets upset. Later Sam apologizes saying how she admires Willow for giving it up. Buffy and Sam go out together for patrol. Sam reveals how long it took for Riley to get over Buffy. Buffy splits up to visit Spike. She asks him if he loves her and he replies yes and the two sleep together. Riley bursts in to Buffy's horror. Riley accuses Spike of being the Doctor. Buffy ashamed chases after Riley. The two go down to the tunnels and find a swarm of Suvolte eggs. Spike lied to her. They begin hatching and Buffy drops grenades in the tunnel to kill them. Since their mission is complete Sam and Riley leave. They say their goodbyes. Buffy starts to tell Riley that she chased after him that night to say that she did love him but she then stops. The two leave in a helicopter. Buffy visits Spike. She tells him that it's over between them. She's using him and she doesn't' love him. | |

| Buffy and Willow are horrified by their radioactive green bridesmaid dresses. They recall how at rehearsal, Anya's demons and Xander's drunken family were at each other's throats. However, Xander is determined that nothing can stop this wedding. Elsewhere, an old man pops into the street. Meanwhile, Xander is getting dressed with Buffy, who starts to get weepy. Willow and Tara help Anya get dressed, while practicing her vows. Dawn is receiving guests for the wedding of Anya's demons and Xander's family. Spike arrives and announces that he's got a date. Meanwhile, the demons (circus folk) and humans are chatting (arguing). The same old man arrives. Buffy is hurt when she learns that Spike has a date. Xander is flooded by relatives when the old man warns him not to get married, telling him that he is him from the future. The old man shows Xander the future. Flash, Xander is in the future with two children where Buffy is dead, Xander is paralyzed and he and Anya are fighting. Flash, his children, one demon, are fighting while Xander is drinking. Flash, Xander and Anya are arguing when Xander hits her. Flash back to the present. Xander is shocked by what he saw. The old man tells Xander to avoid the future by not marrying Anya. Buffy confronts Spike about bringing a date to make her jealous. Everyone is seated and the music is playing. Willow tells Buffy that Xander is missing. Buffy delays Anya, who practices her vows for the last time. Meanwhile, Xander wanders the streets, thinking about what he saw in his future. The guests are restless and Anya is getting impatient, while Buffy delays them. However, Anya overhears that Xander's gone and is horrified. Anya and Xander's family start fighting in an all out brawl over their differences. Anya finds that Xander last talked to the old man and confronts him. The old man tells her that Xander left because of her, then morphs into a demon. He tells her that she cursed him into a demon and is back for revenge, scaring off Xander with a couple of easy visions. The demon attacks Anya. Buffy kills the demon when Xander returns. Anya tells Xander that what he saw was fake. The families start fighting again until Anya orders them to sit down as the wedding will continue. Anya is ready, but Xander says that he can't. He confesses that he had these fears and thoughts before the demon and that he can't go through with it. Anya is devastated. Xander walks out of the wedding. Later, the gang are shocked too by what happened wondering where Xander and Anya are. Elsewhere, Xander books into a cheap motel for the night. Anya is crying on D'Hoffryn's shoulder who offers her vengeance job back. | |

| Buffy tracks down the Trio's lair. Andrew sends a demon after her. The two fight and Buffy is stabbed by one of its spikes. Flash, Buffy is suddenly in an insane asylum. Flash, Buffy wakes to find the demon gone. Next day, Willow practices asking Tara out, but runs off when seeing her with another girl. Buffy is working at DMP. Flash, a doctor calls her over for drugs. Flash, she's back to working. Back at home, Xander returns asking about Anya. They tell him that Anya left. That night, Buffy bumps into Spike, telling him about Xander leaving Anya. Willow and Xander arrive. Spike and Xander start fighting when Buffy falls down. Flash, a doctor tells Buffy that Sunnydale and monsters aren't real and that she's been in ward for 6 yrs. Joyce and Hank are there. Flash, Buffy is shaken while Willow and Xander take her home. Buffy tells them about the demon and the flashes she's had. Flash, the doctor talks with Joyce and Hank saying that for the past 6 yrs, she's had delusions about being the Slayer, friends with superpowers too, demons, vampires and Dawn. However, these delusions are falling apart. Flash, meanwhile, Jonathon is getting edgy since killing Katrina. They start planning their next gig. Willow finds the demon has its own antidote. Buffy confesses that even before the demon she's been so detached from life and that when she saw her first vampire, she was sent to a clinic. She's so scared that maybe she never left that clinic and she's still there. Meanwhile, Xander and Spike capture the demon. Back at home, Dawn looks after Buffy. Flash, Joyce tells Buffy that she doesn't have a sister and saying that will make it real. Flash, Dawn hears this and horrified that in Buffy's ideal world, she's not even there. Meanwhile, the demon is tied up in the basement. Willow grabs the demons spike to brew up an antidote. Willow gives Buffy the antidote to drink. Spike warns that she better tell the others about them or he will. Buffy tosses the antidote in the bin. Flash, Buffy tells the doctor that she wants to go home with her mum and dad. The doctor says that to get better she has the destroy the things that keeps her there, her friends. Flash, later, Buffy who knocks Xander out, dragging him into the basement where Willow is also tied up. Buffy locks the basement and finds Dawn, who notices something wrong and tries to talk to Buffy. However, Buffy scoffs that this life is ridiculous and takes Dawn down with the others. Buffy release the demon on them. Tara arrives and tries to help. The gang plead for Buffy's help. Flash, Joyce encourages Buffy telling her that she's strong and she can do this. Buffy hears this and sadly says goodbye. Flash, Buffy gets up and kills the demon. Willow gives Buffy the antidote again. Flash, Joyce and Hank are crying when the doctor announces that Buffy is gone. | |

| Xander finds Anya and the two talk. Anya starts wishing and cursing him, but is shocked to find that they aren't working on him. She storms out. Next day, Anya complains to Halfrek who explains that she can't grant her own wishes. She'll just have to get someone else to do it. Tara and Willow are chatting happily when Anya appears. As the three talk, Anya starts complaining about Xander hoping that they'll wish something bad about him unknowingly. However, the two aren't keen on cursing Xander. Anya finds Dawn to help curse Xander. However Dawn is paranoid about saying the W-I-S-H word. Anya finds Buffy hoping to get some sympathy which will lead to hating but Buffy tries to be diplomatic. Xander appears and tries to talk to Anya, but she's too angry that no one hates Xander and stalks off. Xander lets her cool off and angrily kicks a gnome in front of Buffy's house. Buffy and Xander are shocked to find a hidden camera. Buffy confronts Spike about the camera but he denies it saying that their love is real. Buffy sadly tells him that it's only real for him and walks out. Anya complains to Halfrek that no one hates Xander when Spike appears at the Magic Box. Anya contemplates turning Spike into a woman until Halfrek tells her that men need a little vengeance now and then. Anya and Spike sit down with a bottle of alcohol, drowning over their sorrows over Xander and Buffy and eventually the two get incredibly drunk. Meanwhile, Willow traces the camera to find it linked with camera's in the Bronze, Magic Box and the campus. Back at the Magic Box, the two are so drunk and sulking that they start to kiss and make out on the table, not knowing about the camera in the Magic Box. Willow sees the camera with Spike and Anya. Xander and Buffy are shocked and hurt. Dawn comes home and sees to much before Willow turns it off. Buffy rushes out and Dawn suspects the truth. Xander in a fury grabs an axe and stalks down to the Magic Box. Meanwhile, the Trio are also watching. Anya and Spike are redressing. The two don't say anything and Spike leaves. Spike walks out just as Xander almost kills him with an axe. Xander continues to pummel him and is about to dust him when Anya and Buffy appear. Xander confronts her about Spike and is disgusted that Anya slept with him. Spike retorts that it was good enough for Buffy. Xander realizes the truth too and is too shocked and runs off. Anya, Spike and Buffy go their separate ways. Meanwhile, Tara goes to see Willow and the two make up. | |

| Willow and Tara wake up in bed. Tara tells Willow about Buffy and Spike. Dawn is ecstatic when she sees the two together. Buffy finds the Trio's lair but they've cleared out and left buzz saws for her. The gang go over what Buffy was able to salvage. Meanwhile, the Trio steal two mystical orbs that grants them invincibility. Buffy tries to talk to Xander who is too hurt and disgusted by what she did and why she didn't tell him. Dawn confronts Spike, telling him about how he hurt Buffy when he slept with Anya. Warren, using the orbs, crashes the Bronze to pick up chicks. A fight ensues and he pummels a guy and then Xander who tries to intervene. Buffy injures her back slaying. Resting up for a bath, Spike appears. He refuses to leave and tries to force himself on Buffy, who is injured. Buffy screams for him to stop and manages to knock him back. Spike is horrified by what he tried to do and storms back to his crypt. Sick of being in love with Buffy and disgusted with himself, Spiike leaves Sunnydale, determined to change things. Xander arrives to tell Buffy about Warren and finds Buffy crying in the bathroom. Willow announces that she's discovered that the Trio are robbing an armed truck holding money. Meanwhile, an armed truck finishes loading and is about to leave when stopped by Warren who uses super-strength to break open the truck. Buffy arrives but is no match. Jonathon leaps on Buffy pretending to attack her but whispers that Warren's power is in the orbs. Buffy smashes them and Warren is helpless. Warren and Andrew grab their jetpacks, deserting Jonathon. Warren escapes but Andrew and Jonathon are captured by police. Next day, Willow and Tara are waking up. Buffy is in the yard when Xander comes and the two make up. Suddenly, Warren appears with a gun, raving mad about Buffy ruining his plans. He shoots Buffy and a stray one flies upstairs, killing Tara instantly. Xander rushes to Buffy while Willow desperately cries for Tara to get up, her eyes turning red. | |

| Buffy is carried off by the paramedics while Willow tries to bring back Tara. However she cannot be since she died of human means. Willow finds out from Xander that Warren shot the gun and she goes to the Magic Box while Xander rides off with Buffy. Willow paralyzes Anya and sinks her hands into the black arts books. The magic is sucked from the books into Willow who becomes a 'black' witch. Xander watches as they operate on Buffy then Willow arrives and uses magic to pull the bullet out. Meanwhile Warren brags about killing the Slayer until he hears that she survived. He goes to Rack for help. Rack reveals that Warren should be more worried about the witch. Meanwhile Xander and Buffy try to calm Willow down as they track Warren. They come to a road with a bus heading towards them. Willow stops the bus and chokes Warren who turns out to be a robot to throw Willow off his trail. Angry Willow teleports after the real Warren. Buffy and Xander get back to the Magic Box where they find Anya. Anya reveals that she can sense Willow's need for vengeance and also reveals that she is back to being a vengeance demon. Elsewhere Spike travels to a cave where he makes a deal with a demon. He must endure the trials to be granted his wish. Willow uses a spell to track the real Warren who is running through the woods. With the help of Anya, Buffy and Xander track Willow. Warren runs through the bushes while Willow catches up. He tries to kill by axing her in the back but she rises just to pull it out again. He then tries to use a seeking explosive. Just as it explodes Willow freezes it and it falls to the ground harmless. She shocks him and he throws a magic ball that explodes in energy to trap her. He runs but Willow escapes out of the trap and uses a spell to tie Warren up. At first he makes threats but soon pleads for his life. Willow takes out the bullet she pulled from Buffy and begins to drive it slowly into Warren. She uses a spell to silence his screams. When Buffy appears Willow says 'bored now' and Warren's skin is ripped off. He dies instantly and combusts in flames. Willow announces 'One down..' and disappears leaving Buffy horrified at what she's done. | |

| Buffy, Xander and Anya realize that Willow is going to kill Jonathon and Andrew. Anya teleports to warn them while Buffy runs there leaving Xander to catch up. Meanwhile in the cell Andrew is still pathetically hopign that Warren will rescue them. Anya fails to persuade the guards to let them go when Willow arrives. She throws back the guards and begins to break through the wall. Buffy arrives and breaks them out, escaping in a car with Xander. Willow sees the bent bars and realizes it's Buffy then shocks Anya who tries to talk to her. In the car, Jonathon laments on how Willow was always so nice and just Willow. Then behind them a truck rams into them. Willow is standing on the truck controlling it. When their car is heavily smashed Jonathon sees Willow faltering. She's drained. They escape back to the Magic Box, where Anya tries to find a counter spell. Jonathon tries to help them but is rebuffed. Xander beats himself up at how useless he feels. Meanwhile Dawn convinces Clem to help her find Rack. Elsewhere Spike endures the first trials and fights against a guy whose fists are on fire. Willow goes to see Rack and drains his power, reviving herself. Dawn arrives and tries to talk to Willow but Willow cruelly taunts Dawn about being a whiner. Buffy arrives and tries to talk to Willow, but Willow brushes her off. Suddenly they are at the Magic Box. Willow shocks Jonathon and Andrew but it has no affect. Secretly Anya is doing a counter spell behind the curtains. Willow imbues a strength spell on herself and goes to pummel them. Buffy steps in the way to stop her and is back handed. Jonathon, Andrew, Dawn and Xander escape out of the shop while Anya remains to continue the counter spell. Buffy and Willow face off. Willow muses that after 6 years as a side kick she finally gets to be the Slayer. The two fight but Buffy is knocked down. During the fight Anya is revealed to Willow who knocks her out as well. The counter spell is stopped. Willow grins knowing that there nobody with more power than her. Suddenly she is shocked across the room by magic. Giles is back and challenges her. | |

| All three are shocked to find Giles back. Willow tries to do a counter spell but is suspended in the air with magic. Giles explains that he has put Willow in a stasis for the moment. Buffy and Giles have a chat. She tells him about Anya and Xander's break up, Tara's death and lastly her sleeping with Spike. After a silence, Giles bursts out laughing and Buffy soon joins him. Meanwhile Anya is cleaning the Magic Box when she hears Willow's voice. Willow uses mind control to get Anya to free her. In the middle of their laughter, Giles is interrupted by Willow. She attacks Giles who throws her through the wall with magic. After a long fight Giles is weary but Willow is still strong. Willow creates a fire ball that she announces will track and kill Andrew and Jonathon. And anyone helping them. Giles tells Buffy to hurry and go after it and she does. Meanwhile Xander and the gang are wandering around. He confesses that he doesn't know how to help or go. They end up in the cemetery. Xander slips up about Spike trying to rape Buffy. Giles is soon overpowered, being levitated smashing up and down by Willow. He hits her with a blast. Needing a reboost she drains Giles of his magic, nearly killing him. The magic gives her a huge rush and nearly overwhelms her. She cries that she can feel everything. Giles watches as he lies on the ground. Willow is overwhelmed by the feeling of everything around her, especially the pain. Realizing she must stop the pain she disappears. Meanwhile Xander is arguing with Andrew and Jonathon when Dawn notices the fire ball. Buffy arrives to help and it crashes into the ground, creating a huge hole. Buffy and Dawn fall down while Xander is knocked out. Jonathon and Andrew decide to take the opportunity to escape to Mexico. Back at the Magic Box, Anya wakes up to see Giles who mutters about something. He explains that Willow is going to stop the pain to end the world of its misery. An Apocalypse. No one can stop her, no one supernatural or even the Slayer. Seeing themselves trapped, Buffy calls for Xander to get a rope. Dawn takes the chance to confront Buffy about Spike. Buffy tries to explain that she didn't tell Dawn because she wanted protect Dawn. Dawn argues that Buffy can't always protect her from everything. Suddenly Anya appears filling them in on Willow's Apocalyse. Meanwhile Willow uses magic to unearth a buried satanic temple from Sunnydale. She will use her magic to power it to create an Apocalypse. The previous cult that tried failed when they were buried in an earthquake. Anya tells them that Giles is dying and goes back to the Magic Box. While still stuck, Buffy hears Willow's voice. Willow realizes that Buffy will try to stop her. She tells her that she understands Buffy's pain and is going to end it for her. She summons zombies so Buffy will be delayed. In the hole Buffy fights against the zombie but soon gives Dawn a sword to fight beside her. At the site of the temple Willow begins to release the magic when Xander shows up. She shocks him but he gets up saying that if the world is going to end he wants to be there with her. She's his best friend whether she's kindergarten Willow or evil Willow. He loves her. At that Willow lashes out at him. He continues to approach her saying he loves her no matter what. Her powers begins to weaken and she soon can't find the heart to hurt Xander. As he touches her, she breaks out crying as her hair turns back to red. Meanwhile the zombies disappear. Buffy starts crying and tells Dawn that she has been wrong. She doesn't want to protect Dawn anymore, she wants to show the world to her. Back at the Magic Box Giles is alive as Anya and Giles walk limping out. Giles tells her that Willow couldn't be stopped by magic or powers she was stopped by Xander. Buffy and Dawn crawl out to overlook Sunnydale as Willow continues to cry in Xander's arms. Elsewhere Spike is exhausted from his trials. The demon comes forth to congratulate him and give him his reward. His soul back... | |
