Logan Robert, Page 7!!!
Logan's goody's - Fisher Price Rainforest Collection. From left to right: Jumper, Swing, Pack -N- Pay, Bouncer, Gym and Highchair. They are all ready for him when he gets here. Although some reorganizing needs to be done - it's a little cramped!
On the right is Logan's Travel System. It's a carrier, carseat and stroller all in one!
October 8, 2007 - Yet another NST and Doctors appointment today. Logan again did very well with the NST. His little heartbeat sounds just like a horse galloping - very strong! The doctor is very pleased with my progress, especially in light of all the little things I have going on (clotting gene, single umbilical artery and gestational diabetes - all high risk factors for premature birth). For the most part I've been feeling good. Just a little tired here and there - especially today! After the testing and the doctors appointment, I had a dentist appointment that lasted forever!!! My back was killing me and all I wanted to do was cry when it was over. But all is ok now!
October 11, 2007 - Logan was wiggling all over the place during the NST today. It was a constant struggle to keep the sensor on his heartbeat. Eventually they got what they needed and he is still doing very well! He's got to be running out of room in there!
October 13, 2007 - I've had some crampiness the last couple days, my back and hips are sore, and I'm feeling some pressure where the baby is. I think I'm getting close. I'm pretty sure I had a few real contractions last night - although I guess they could have been the Braxton Hicks. However, they seemed lower, came from my back and hurt a tiny bit - all very different than the Braxton Hicks have been. Logan also ceased all movement when I had them....But I haven't had any "tell tale" signs yet - so it could still be several weeks. At this point I am so ready for him to be here!
October 15, 2007 - Another NST today and it was more of the same - Logan wiggling all over the place! The doctor is very pleased with him! Me not so much! Just kidding. The kid loves to move, what can I complain about? (Except when it hurts!) Anyway - I've gained another 3 pounds so I'm up to a total weight gain of 23. Boo! I was hoping to keep it at 20! Oh well. I've been feeling better the last couple days, so I guess it was just wishful thinking when I was having cramping earlier...
October 18, 2007 - My second NST of the week was today. Again Logan did great. I was worried because the last couple days his movements seemed to decrease a bit, I still felt him, but not the "big" movements he had been doing. But the doctor was very happy with the results. He must be running out of room to wiggle around! To the right is a picture of me today - 36 weeks. Can you tell I'm ready for him to be here already???
October 21, 2007 - Finally I'm full term - although no sign of baby boy yet. I've been crampy again today, and my back is sore - but apparently that means absolutely nothing. I'm so over being pregnant and just want to meet my baby boy! I know, technically my due date isn't for another three weeks, but I'm so tired and just ready for this part to be over!
October 22, 2007 - Logan was quite fiesty today during the NST. He kicked so hard, it was like he was trying to kick the sensors off my belly! I have no idea what he was doing in there, but there were some major movements. He is still hanging out on my left side - doesn't he know the way out is to the middle and down??
