| March 21, 2007 - I had been to the doctor on March 8, 2007 and they gave me a pregnancy test, which came back negative. I still hadn't started my period, so I took a home pregnancy test - and much to my surprise, it said I was pregnant! I scared the crap out of Rob when I woke him up to tell him. After we calmed down a bit, we decided to wait a day and then re-test. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| March 22, 2007 - Another home pregnancy test. Results did not change. Guess it's time I call the doctor!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| March 28, 2007 - Appointment with the OB Nurse. So much information - eat this, don't eat that, and blood work . After drawing several vials of blood, I am totally drained, literally and emotionally. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| March 29, 2007 - Too tired to go to work, I called in sick. Good thing, because the doctor called me back in for more blood work. I made Rob go with me because I felt so sick after yesterday. And much to his dismay, I totally passed out. They called the paramedics and everything. Although by the time they got there I was fine. In my defense they did draw like six or eight vials, in addition to what they took yesterday!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| April 18, 2007 - The last month has been a bunch of secrets. We haven't told anyone. I have been extremely tired and I don't have much of an appetite. But I don't have morning sickness, at least not the part where you throw up all time!! We decide to tell our parents and siblings. Everyone is very excited!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| April 20, 2007 - Saw my doctor today. I am 10 weeks, 3 days. We heard the baby's heartbeat, although briefly. It made it all the more real!! Told the extended family, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Pretty soon I won't be able to hide it!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| April 30, 2007 - Saw a specialist today. My doctor was concerned that I had a clotting gene that could be a problem. The specialist doesn't think there is anything to worry about. Which is very good news! I also had my first ultrasound. I got to see the baby! What a wiggle worm. Very uncooperative!! But all looks good so far - the heartbeat was good. | May 1, 2007 - Time to let the rest of the world know - I'm finally awaiting my little bundle of joy! Or if it's behavior so far is any indication, one wild child!! Either way, we can't wait! I am due on November 12, 2007! If it's a girl - Taylor Diane. If it's a boy - still up in the air!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| May 8, 2007 - Nothing too exciting has been going on. I'm quickly outgrowing my clothes. I think I'm down to 3 or 4 pairs of pants that still fit! But I had enough energy to venture out today and buy a couple of maternity pants - it was a pain finding a store that carried petite maternity clothes!! My next doctor appointment is on the 17th. We'll probably have another ultrasound picture, and maybe, if the baby cooperates, we may be able to find out the gender!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| May 17, 2007 - My doctors appointment was uneventful, although we did get to hear the baby's heartbeat - which was really strong. My doctor says everything is going well and the baby is healthy... I was wrong about the ultrasound, thats next month!! My next appointments are on June 11, 2007 and June 14, 2007. Check back for more details at that time!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
