| August 22, 2007 - Had another doctors appointment today. Unfortunatlely, It seems I have a lot of little "complications", most of which will have no affect on little Logan. First, I'm RH negative, so I had to get a shot today. Of course, I jumped when she stuck me the first time and the needle came out, so I had to get stuck again! Now my bottem is extremely sore! Then, I have carpal tunnel in my right hand. Right now it isn't limiting anything, it's more of a pain, my hand goes numb for a bit and I have to shake it off. Last, I failed the three hour gestational diabetes test, meaning I have a problem with my body regulating insulin. I have to meet with a dietician to come up with meal plans and test my blood sugar regularly. As long as I do what they say and monitor it closely, it should not have any affect on the baby, and it goes away after he's born. The positive of this is that I will probably learn a much healthier diet that I can continue even after he's born! So far I've gained a total of 17 pounds. As for Logan, he's doing good.. He is very active and has a good heartbeat. Thats all for now. We go for child birthing classes this weekend and my next ultrasound is the day after Labor day. | August 24, 2007 - Our first child birth class, and what fun it was. Actually it probably would not have been so bad if it hadn't been in the middle of a Tornado Warning! I was totally freaking out. At least we were at a hospital... After the first hour the warning expired and I was able to relax a bit. Most of the class is tommorrow anyway - we are attending the weekend crash course due to our schedules. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| August 25, 2007 - The second and last day of our weekend crash course child birthing class was today. It was very informative and eye opening. I thought it might scare me a little, but it did the opposite, it calmed me - I'm sure I can do this. (I know it's a little late to turn back - but still it's a good feeling to be a little more sure of myself!) Logan's still doing great and kicking/moving like usual. He doesn't really kick per se, but sticks his butt or head out. I haven't figured out which it is. He likes to hang out on the left side and my belly often looks a little lopsided!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| August 29, 2007 - Nothing too exciting - but heres a new belly shot. I'm 29 weeks. Boy is he getting big, or is it just me??? | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| September 4, 2007 - Our little boy is growing up! We had another ultrasound today and he currently weighs 3 pounds, 2 ounces. His heartbeat was 126. He is head down, with legs totally outstretched. What I thought was his head or butt sticking out at me turns out to be his shoulder. He is camped out on my left side, his back facing out, him facing in. It seems he never stops moving!! I got to see him move on the ultrasound and felt it at the same time, it was pretty amazing to see what he was doing in there! We also got to see him yawn. That was weird!!
