Cartoon related violence on the rise

I don't understand why Mohammed would need to be moving somewhere....
Not the real cartoon originally printed, but equally offensive probably.

(JOFUS) -- Protests continue with renewed vigor over some political cartoons printed in a Danish newpaper last Septmember.

In recent days several deaths have been reported in conjunction with protests over a cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed in a Danish newpaper.

According to one observer an anvil was dropped on someone's head and another spotted a protester strapping an ACME rocket to his back.

Protests have been springing up all over the Middle East with the same fervor put into the beating an unveiled woman.

Despite the peaceful start of the protests, Palenstine's newly elected majority party, Hamas, has setup several giveway booths at hot locations in recent weeks.

When interviewed by JOFUS.com a protester, Dirka al-Jihad, responsed that he in fact had NOT seen the cartoon in question. He was not aware the protest was over a cartoon in the first place.

"I'm just here to help my brethen burn the infidels hiding in the Italian consulate," al-Jihad informed reporters.

Analysts have been quick to point out that cartoons depicting violence influence those watching to engage in violent behavior, much like the studies linking video games to a rise in juvenile crime.

"Obviously the rash of violence is not the fault of the people involved," ESRB spokemans Ima Dousche informed us. "It is the result of the filth put forth by the Danish media."

Most American Muslims were not aware that it is blasphemy to depict Mohammed in a humorous context. Many had been doing so for years including them in jokes with the Priest, Rabbi, and Prophet.

The cartoon has since been reprinted in newspapers across Europe with the expection of France. When threatened with violence, the French newspaper quickly surrendered.

Other religions join the fray

Not to be left out of the action, other religious groups have begun protesting humorous representations of their Gods as well.

Several born again Christians have told JOFUS.com reporters that religous tolerance and free speech have gone too far. They begun protesting shows such as Family Guy and South Park for their protrayal of God and Jesus Christ.

WIthout a national flag to burn like the protestors in the Middle East, Protestants in the deep south have done the next best thing, burn books.

Jewish people have also lead protests over the preference to use Jesus in such cartoons over God himself stating an obvious Christian bias as "unacceptable".

Despite constant prodding Buddhists still remain unmoved. Due to his jolly nature and rotund appearance many Buddhists believe Buddha looks funny to begin with.

Besides Buddhists are the people who don't choose to kill others in the name of their God. How naive of them.
