Guru is the oldest Namek alive. He dies because of all the pain of all the Nameks that were killed by Freeza. He then get's wished back and right after that he get's wished from Namek to Earth with all the other Nameks (that's how Dende get's to Earth). He dies of a natural death on Earth anyway.
