Super Twin21 Baja
The car was officially finished on 30 AUG 2005, that is almost 2 years after I started forming the ideas and learning how to use the CAD I did all the drawings on.
Somewhere between 5000 and 10,000 hours have been invested in this project.

As you can see I have done a 'retro' style Rock Shox paint job on the car.  I have not yet run it properly, I will update more when I have.  Here are some pics.
1:6 scale Baja superbuggy

Twin engine Baja superbuggy (class-1 unlimited desert racer)

Scale: about 1:6

Power: Twin Hyper-21 turbo, horizontally-opposed layout

Exhaust: Twin linear manifolds with RB Concept 086 pipes

Brakes: Quad independent outboard aluminium drilled discs,
cable operated with L/R and F/R independent bias adj

Suspension: Independent double wishbone all round, 4"+ travel, industrial wound springs with oil damping with tuneable compression/rebound

Driveline: Hobao helical cut ring and pinion gears, custom built aluminium gearbox (rear) stock plastic Hyper-7 box (front)
Switchable 2/ permanent 4 wheel drive

Body: Brass/carbon fibre tubular roll cage frame.  Body hinges forward from cab for access.

Weight: 15 lb
