Course 1: BOB-OMB BATTLEFIELD

This course is located on the main floor at the very left door. Jump into the picture to start. You need no stars to get in.

1. Big Bob-omb on the Summit
This is a good star to get first. First, you should talk to the 2 pink friendly bob-ombs. You are unable to use the cannons for this star but you don't need to anyway. The easiest way to get to the top is to go into the field past the first bridge, and stand in the middle of a patch of yellow flowers. You will warp to a patch farther away and closer to the Big Bob-omb. Now you can go 1 of 2 ways. You can either go past the metal fence and up the hill, then go up the mountain, or go past the two balls and go up the mountain. Watch out for rolling balls and stay to the left of them when you are running up. When you get to the big pit you should long jump it instead of going over the bridge, it saves time. When you are on the top you have to face the Big Bob-omb. Beat him by picking him up from behind and throwing him to the ground 3 times. Don't throw him off the mountain because it won't count. If you do this right you will get the star. Sometimes it works to wait until he is just about to get you, then backflip. You will have a good shot if you do this.

Difficulty: 1/10

2. Footrace with Koopa the Quick
This is also an easy one. First, talk to Koopa and accept his challenge to a race. Go up the mountain same as in star 1 and beat Koopa to the top. If you do, he will give you a star. A time under 1 minute usually wins.

Difficulty: 1/10

3. Shoot to the Island in the Sky
First you have to talk to the bob-omb and make him open the cannon for you. Don't use this cannon but use the cannon nearby the flower patch warp in star 1. Aim straight up and you will be on the island. The star is in a yellow question box.

Difficulty: 1/10

4. Find the 8 Red Coins
Here is my list of where the 8 Red Coins are:
1. On the elevator right by the 1st bridge.
2. On a hill in the field by red coin #1.
3. On Chain-Chomp's post.
4. On the island in the sky.
5. By the 4 posts in the field past the 2nd bridge.
6. With red coin #5.
7. Underneath the entrance to the mountain.
8. On the hill leading to the mountain.
Go back to where you found red coin #5 to find the star.

Difficulty: 1/10 (but time consuming)

5. Mario Wings to the Sky
For this star you need the Wing Cap. Shoot to the island in the sky. Use the wing cap and cannon to get the coin in the middle of 5 rings of coins. Go to the meadow where red coins 5 and 6 are found for the star.

Difficulty: 3/10

6. Behind Chain Chomp's Gate
Go to Chain Chomp and when he isn't looking, stomp down his post that holds him there. He will reward you with a star.

Difficulty: 2/10

7. 100 Coins
This isn't listed as a star but you will get one if you find 100 coins. In every 100 coin course you should get all the red coins because they are worth 2 coins each. Blue coins are worth 5 coins. Defeat the koopa in the field in star 3, 4, 5, or 6 for a blue coin. Make sure you defeat all goombas and bob-ombs, get the coins in star 5, and look everywhere to find 100. The star will appear where you found your 100th coin. I haven't listed the difficulty for these because they usually aren't ver hard but are very time consuming.
