Rainforest Verandah CaféSet on the shaded banks of Crystal Creek, a nature fresh water stream that feeds into the Tweed River, the Rainforest Verandah Café at Crystal Creek Miniatures is the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing meal or a light snack. Whether you are here to see the miniatures on the tractor train tour or just passing through the scenic Mountain Village Drive (Tourist Route 36), be sure to stop into our oasis and recharge with our delicious home-cooked snacks. Our famous pies are baked fresh daily, with a diverse seasonal selection that includes beef, chicken, beef and bacon, curry, cauliflower and cheese, spaghetti bolognaise and exotic Mexican and Gado Gado pies. Sumptuous hot and cold meals, including home-made lasagne and soups, are available all year round. 
For those with a sweet tooth, be sure to sample our yummy carrot or banana cakes or your choice of finer delicacies. Teas, hot chocolates and espresso coffees are served piping hot, while during the summer months we do a brisk trade in fresh fruit smoothies, juices and ice-cold soft drinks.
