Clarence Birdseye developes a quick freezing method to preserve the taste and quality of frozen vegatables. This process holds practical applications to preserving and freezing other cell matter, such as humans. The idea of cryogenically freezing a person sparks interest in scientists. German government officials seize multiple bank accounts throughout Europe. Several accounts begin diverting funding to an unknown organization referred to as "Das Syndikat" or "The Syndicate". In addition to funding, enormous research projects into the areas of telsa currents, jet turbines, and long range rockets are conducted by Germany. Many of the projects are either funded by or thru the Syndicate. Collaboration with Japanese forces also results in the creation of accounts within Tokyo based banks. A successful operation plants accounts designed to divert funds to the Syndicate within banks of the United Kingdom. With the final surrender of Germany, the accounts of unknown origin return to the federal banks of their respective nations. Funding continues to trickle to the Syndicate, as well as the remainder of German technology research. Throughout the Cold War, massive funds are diverted to an arms race as well as furthering technology research. Funding and research is tracked thru several government agencies. An unidentified mole leaks information and funding from these projects to the Syndicate. With the massive growth of power in the USSR, the leak remains relatively unnoticed. During the Cold War, various espionage agents for the Syndicate establish similiar small leaks in American banking systems. Various physicists collaborate their theories and begin to decern a belief in zero point fields. ZPFs help scientist to understand the relation between even the smallest particle in an atom and the atom's overall inertia. Lorentz force is further understood from ZPFs and dramatically increases scientific understanding of rail technology. |
