Tearing down the house

We had a "surprise" when we got the siding off. We had NO plywood at all under the siding. Our neighbor had his siding replaced too, and he at least had plywood on his corners! We needed plywood for the next step of our renovation, so our contractor took a sidetrip to the store to pick some up. That was an unexpected expense and delay, but I am so glad we did it. The front bedroom of the house has always been incredibly cold in the winter and warm in the summer. Since we added the plywood and siding there has been a HUGE and major change in the night time temperatures of that room.
This also marked the beginning of a trend with this contractor. More about that later.
