The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM at St. Paul’s.  In attendance were:  Dave B., Jennifer C., Mike O., Kevin P., Kathy R., Sherry S., and Mick S..

Secretary's report:    August minutes were reviewed and approved.

Treasurer's report:    No Treasurer’s report given.

Old Business

August Pack Activities:

1.      Popcorn Hat Players - Fun event.  Scouts and Parents enjoyed themselves.

2.      Pinchot Park Hike – rained out.  4 boys attended.  Next year avoid Back-to-School night.

New Business

Gettysburg Hike:  Next year we want to do the hike. Check BSA website for trails.

Ski Roundtop Scout Program: Activities co-chair to coordinate program to earn Ski Patch.

Popcorn Sale: Wear uniform while selling popcorn. Jen A. was contacted regarding popcorn sale. Each scout should target $65 in sales. Sale needs to be promoted stronger at Pack meeting.

Fall Camp:  Mike O. needs to finalize the activities flier. Each scout must be accompanied by an adult to attend. Payments due before October Pack meeting. Confirm Fall Round-up rooms. Set-up around 2 PM September 19^th if possible.

Fall Roundup: Kevin to email the following documents to Bill W. to copy for Back-to-Scouting night: registration form (30), Pack information sheet (30), application to join pack (10), health and medical forms, Pack calendar (30), t-shirt flier (75), service project for Methodist Home, service project for blood hounds, Fall Picnic flier, order forms for popcorn fundraiser (30) and Fall Camp flier (75).

Pack Calendar:  Randy to update calendar and send to Kevin.

Fall Picnic: Discussed final details.

Scout Photo and Pack Yearbook: Discussion was tabled for a later date.

New Den Chiefs: Sherry S. would like a Den Chief. Leslie will contact Ted S. to arrange.

Tiger Cub Pride Night: Not recommended for Spring 2004.

T-Shirt Sale: M. updated committee on T-Shirt sale.

September Pack Meeting Agenda: We received Quality Unit award for 2003. Rick M. will get 2003 patches. Need to order 20+. Every scout will receive a patch.

Other New Business:

• Matt has copies of old manuals, books, etc. Den leaders should contact him if they would like to review these materials. Matt, as “Librarian”, will go through books to see what’s useful and what’s outdated. Kevin to put list on website.

• Sherry to send an email to Kevin regarding recycling information.
