The meeting was called to order at 7:06 PM at St. Paul’s.  In attendance were:  Dave B., Jennifer C., Leslie C., Kevin P., Jean R. and Sherry S..

Secretary's report: February minutes were reviewed and approved with one correction. Next scheduled meeting is March 4, 2004 at 7:00 PM.

Treasurer's report: Reviewed budget to-date. Balance as of end of February is $3,295.55.

Old Business

Blue and Gold Banquet: Banquet went very well. Leslie suggested burning the slide show on CD to take to the round table meeting as a promotion. All agreed that the speaker was very effective the way he talked right to the children.

Suggestions for next year:
·        Invite the Pastor of the church as a guest.
·        Announce tables.
·        No seconds until everyone is served.
·        Serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as a staple.

Make an announcement to children and parents not to leave the auditorium and to respect church property.

Scouting for Food: Sharon G. needs to know who to contact. Door hangers need to be picked up. Maps need to be written up.

New Business

Pack Meeting Agenda:  Dave is traveling that day. Kevin will run the March meeting. Dave is looking into the church for an outdoor Pack Meeting this summer. Sherry suggested more seats for Tigers; 12 scouts and 12 parents.

Announcements:
·        190 patches are now available for purchase.
·        Introduce new Tiger Cub Leaders
·        Scouting for Food - Class A uniform to be worn when collecting . Email will be sent by Kevin outlining the program.
·        Deadline for Tiger Cub Fun Day.
·        Positions to be filled:
       ·        Leslie’s replacement
       ·        Trainer/Librarian
       ·        Shadow for Wendy M
       ·        Shadow for Cindy C – Blue and Gold Banquet

Summertime Activities: Jean R announced summertime activities:
·        June 12 – ALS walk at City Island
·        June will be bicycle safety. Will have tire change and helmet fitting at bike shop. State Police were used in previous bicycle roles.
·        July 4 – Hershey Park Day (last day to use passes).
·        Jean R will call Senators to see if there is a scout camp out again this year.
·        July 24 – Gettysburg Hike
·        August 7 – Cornel Denning State Park
·        August 21 – Nailor Observatory. Dave recommended possibly having a camp out.
·        Dave suggested the Latermoyer Museum as an additional activity.
·        Williams Grove
·        Final dates for calendar will be discussed in future Committee meetings.
·        August – Hot Dog Sale

Other Business

Fundraisers:
·        Spring Popcorn Sale: Jen couldn’t attend meeting. Scout accounts were discussed.
·        Dave is going to call Pappy Al’s Pizza for possible fundraiser.
·        Spring fundraiser was not finalized and will be discussed at April’s meeting after talking to Jen.

Tiger Cub Fun Day: Dates need to be corrected by Council. Leslie will email note to the School Board. Fun Day needs to be put on agenda.

Next Committee Meeting: The next committee meeting will be held at St. Paul’s on Thursday, April 1at 7:00 PM.
