The meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM at St. Paul’s.  In attendance were:  Dave B., Jennifer C., Cindy C., Rick H., Kevin P., Kathy R., Glenn R. and Sherry S..

Secretary's report: December minutes were reviewed and approved.

Treasurer's report: The Treasurer’s balance as of 1/9/04 was $2,906.60.

Old Business

December Pack Meeting: Low turn-out at the Pack meeting. Sherry felt the scouts need an incentive to wear their full uniform; this includes their neckerchief/slide.

January Pack Meeting: The Friends of Scouting will be attending the January meeting. Kevin will email parents to remind them to bring their checkbooks. Hockey Tickets and Blue & Gold Banquet fees are due as well. Results of the Pinewood Derby will be announced.

Pinewood Derby: Kevin will be taking digital pictures at the Pinewood Derby. Good Neighbor Pizza will donate 9 pizzas. Need to add the height requirement (4”) to the Pinewood Derby rules.

Packmaster Software: Discussion tabled until February pack meeting.

New Business

January Pack Meeting Agenda:  Reviewed and approved with one addition. Kathy or Cindy will talk about the Blue & Gold Banquet.

Blue and Gold Banquet: The cost will be $2 per person. We will have Mariachi music and possibly a piñata. Families can sign up at the Pinewood Derby. Each family should bring a main dish and desert or salad and desert. Seating will be by Den. Dave B suggested using white poppers. Mayor Ritter will be the speaker. Mayor Ritter, Dave B. and Sam N. will be seated at the head table. The cost of last year’s budget was $240. Dave B. will get placemats and print programs. Leslie will pull the Arrow of Light Ceremony and give to Dave B. Adult Leader awards will be distributed at the banquet.

Roster Corrects: John Quigley is Den Chief for Wolfe Den II and Zack Ott is Den Chief for Webelos I.

Next Committee Meeting: The next committee meeting will be held at St. Paul’s on Thursday, February 5^th at 7:00 PM.
