Guilds of the Crystal Shores
A Knight isn't a True Knight without an Order with which to belong. A Mage finds wisdom and strength among one's own. It can be said of all professions: You can go just so far on your own, but you can go further within a Guild.
The following is a listing of registered Guilds. If you have a Guild you wish to present for registration, kindly Contact Us, clicking on the Left Link, sending us your Guild's Pages, defining its purpose.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Guild Guidelines (Authored 4/2002 by M. DeJesus for Crystal Shores RPG) if you wish to submit one. They are points and mission statements your webpages must describe, in a format as follows: *Introduction: An introduction serves as a welcoming/greeting and mood setting. You would welcome and explain to visitors what is your guild’s purpose with a statement of its mission/goals. Every guild should have a mission or a goal. Think hard, it’s there, why else would you make a guild in the first place? *Guidelines/Beliefs It’s good to speak about the guild’s courses of action and how they think. This would be listed as a guideline, not a rule but a belief. An example of a guideline would be “We see it wrong to raise our swords against women or children.” Although it’s not an official guild’s rule, it’s a guild’s concept of morality. Guidelines are more or less a list of ethical values not to be confused with alignment/ethic identities such as light, neutral, dark, etc. *Rules It’s very important to list the rules of a guild if you have them. Rules should be followed up with a list of punishments/consequences for when they are broken. (Note: Rules of Crystal Shores RPG are first and foremost to be followed; any guild rules are secondary.) The difference between rules and guidelines is what is not allowed (Rules) and what is considered a wrongdoing (Guideline/Belief). You can also look it at as Public Law and again Moral Belief. If you do not have any rules, it’s also important to state that you do not have. *Requirements If you are looking for a specific stereotype whether it be just one qualification, you will want to list all the requirements needed to become a candidate to join. Requirements may be practically anything. It doesn’t always have to be race or ethic. It can be gender, hair color, and appearance. i.e. “No pretty people” *Benefits/What we Offer Okay, now we’ve stated what we want from those who are interested in joining, we must let them know what we offering. There must be a reason for someone to join your guild. You should tell them what you offering when they join. Sometimes it’s hard to find out what your guild really offers if it’s based on strictly belief/cause. If your guild were solely or partly made up of a moral belief (i.e. Priests of the Light who believe all evil must be slain) then what you would offer would be: “A sharing of similar religious beliefs and acknowledgement within a society of priests” Notice we did not state what are the beliefs of the Priest here because it should have been stated in the guideline/beliefs section. *Contact/Question Information This is very important if you are planning on getting people to join. Always include a proper e-mail address that you actually would check daily or at least the times you would log on. *Mandatory with Crystal Shores IRC Roleplaying Game -A list of the roster Players/Characters (3 player minimum with 5 character minimum) -All character members must be registered If including a Ranking/Title System you MUST include: -List of Ranks/Titles -Give Explanations to why you have each Rank and Title (What are their purposes) *Note on the Bonuses granted to GuildMasters: -A beginner level GuildMaster gains a +1% on their selected Hit Ratios, this includes any weaponry that the individual may carry. (40%+1 to Hit=41%) -Intermediate GuildMasters rise to a +2% advantage on their Hit Ratios, again, this is collaberated with any 'carried' weaponry. (50%+2 to Hit=52%) -Master Level GuildMasters wager a +3% advantage on Hit Ratios. (60%+3 to Hit=63%) -Sage Level GuildMasters Gain a +5% on Hit Ratios. (80%+5 to Hit=85%) If you have any questions concerning these guidelines feel free to contact The Help Desk So you've read the Guild Rules and wish to show us what you've got? Submit your guild by sending a prepared presentation to the Help Desk. This presentation should include a draft of the website that you wish to display as your guild, as well as a contact address for the GMs to contact you for additions, deletions or other changes to make it ready for posting. NOTE: NO guild is legal unless posted on the Guilds page of the Main Website of Crystal Shores IRC Roleplaying Game.
