I found a mini book about knitting when I was cleaning one day. I found that we already had knitting needles and yarn, so I wanted to teach myself. I gave up after a few tries. Then my sister, Beck, tried it and succeeded. She moved on to crocheting shortly after. I learned from her and the Knitting Made Easy CD. By the way, I highly recommend the CD. It's very informative.

Here's some of the work that I've done:

A purse a knitted for my friend's birthday. If you look closely, you can see that I added some wired dragonflies to the bottom left corner and top right corner. Sure, my knitting isn't completely perfect on it, but it was my first piece. I had lots of trouble with it because I occasionally did the wrong stitches, but Beck worked it out for me. :D
