The KRKO Radio Project (SR-Broadcasting) may have significant radio frequency interference (RFI)
KRKO radio will be brought into every nearby home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, courtesy of radio frequency interference (RFI) from the proposed KRKO 50,000 watt broadcast signal. This unavoidable nuisance may interfere with radio, TV reception, telephones, home computers, even baby monitors.

The Superior Court of the State of Washington issued a decision on September 29, 1999 favoring citizens opposed to a monopole on aesthetic grounds in Citizens to Preserve Pioneer Park v. City of Mercer Island, US West Wireless Inc, Puget Sound Energy.
