Joseph Walsh born 1848 County Kilkenny, Ireland, died 1913 St. James Parish, LA. He served in Co, F 18th Louisiana Infantry CSA. Joseph married Elizabeth Duffy(Duffel). Joseph's father was Nicolas Walsh and mother Anna Davis, both of Ireland. Joseph Walsh  is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Union, LA.         

Elizabeth Duffy (Duffel), born 1845 and died in 1928, was the daughter of John Duffy and Marceline Hymel. She married Joseph Walsh in 1869.They had 9 children, one of which was Nicolas Walsh, shown below. Elizabeth is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Union, LA

Nicholas Walsh born 1873, Labadieville, LA, died 1945 Baton Rouge, LA. He lived most of his life on a farm in St. James Parish, LA that adjoined a farm owned by his father, Joseph Walsh. Nicholas married Ernestine Letulle in 1901 and they had 8 children. Nicholas is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Union, LA

Catherine "Cassie" Walsh was born 16 September 1911 and died 28 February 1977. She was born in Central (now Convent), LA. She was the oldest daughter of Nicholas Walsh and Ernestine Letulle Walsh. She married Christian Peter Hansen, Sr. in June 1930. They had 2 children. They are buried in  Resthaven Cemetery, Baton Rouge, LA.
