This is one of the few pictures I have of my grandmother, Magdalena Herrera. She was born in Cuba 25 May 1880 and died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on 10 December 1967. This is a Danish passport issued in 1924 for Magdalena and her six younger sons to travel to the USA. One of the older sons: Ramon was already in the USA working and Andrew stayed in Cuba until his death in the early 1980s. Magdalena married Christian Hansen in 1900. Magdalena father was Juan Herrera and her mother was Josepha Rodriquez of Cuba. | Home | |
