The Autumn or Fall Equinox, once again this is a time of balance. Harvests and sorting of what will and won't be required for winer occur. This holiday is named after the Sacred Son of Celtic Lore, Mabon.
This is the second harvest, Lughnassad was the first, but now grains, crops or new relationships are harvested. The third, and final, harvest is only weeks away, (Samhain) and now is the time to ask yourself, what crops remain in the fields? What projects remain unfinished? Complete any unfinished business and prepare for a time of reflection and rest after celebrating your accomplishments,
The season is sacred to Tammuz, God of dying vegetation and Demeter, Goddess of the Earth's bounty.
Celebrate this festival between September 20-23 (Northern Hemisphere) or March 20-23 (Southern).
Colours associated with this holiday are brown, yellow and orange.
