How
do I eliminate junk Email?
The best way currently is to go to Keyword MAIL CONTROLS, then
select the option Allow Mail from AOL Members Only, OR, if you
have internet friends who email you, select Allow Mail from AOL
Members and Addresses Listed Only. Then, type in the addresses
of your non-AOL friends. This should eliminate about 99% of the
junk mail you get.
How can I make
blind carbon copies of my AOL Email?
Type your OWN screen name in the To Box of the Email. Now, type
the addresses of those you want the mail to go to in the CC: box...AND
(this part is important) place parenthesis around the names such
as (user1,user2,user3).
The
E-mail I sent out came back �undeliverable.� Why?
There could be any number of reasons. The most common reason is
a misspelled Email address. Double check it. Make sure to use
all lower case letters on internet mail...some mail servers have
trouble with upper case. If the address isn�t the problem, it
could have been a problem with one of the servers (computers)
your mail encountered along the way. Wait a while and try resending.
Or your recipient could be blocking E-mail from you or all AOL
mail. Contact them another way and find out, if possible.
Can
I get a virus from E-Mail?
Only if you download an attached file that contains one, or open
mail with a virus file embedded in it. Your best bet: NEVER download
attachments or open embedded Emails from people you don�t know
