The Trinity, The Resurrection, and Baptism- by Michael Wells
If you love Me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always. The Spirit of Truth, which the world cannot accept because it niether sees nor knows it. But you know it because it remains with you, and will be in you.
Islam
I like to chat online, and once I had the pleasure of talking with one of the smartest and faith-filled persons I have ever met. He was Muslim and we talked long into the night. Anyway, we got to talking about the Qur'an and he told me that Muslim believe that everything in the Qur'an is word for word true and that it is infalible, and that nothing can be disproved. We then moved on to other topics, and soon we were on The Holy Trinity. He told me that Muslims believe that Christian believe in Three Seperate Gods. This is absolutly false, and I knew it. But I thought that this was probably his personal opinion and I consulted the Qur'an for the Muslim belief. What I found was shocking:

John 14:15-17
People of the Book! Exceed not the limits in the matter of your religion and say not of Allah anything but the truth. Indeed, the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and the fulfilment of glad tidings which He conveyed to Mary and a mercy from Him. So believe in Allah and His messenger and say not: There are Three gods. Desist, it would be the better of you. Indeed, Allah is only One God. His holyness brooks not that He should have a son. To him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, Sufficient is Allah as a guardian.
Catholic Q and A
After Jesus was baptised he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, coming upon Him.
Qur'an 4:172
Matthew 3:16
If the Qur'an is right word for word, then why does it say that Christian believe in three gods, when we most obviously do not? There is only One God, as Christians say. One God in Three Persons, and for some this is hard to grasp. For Christians it is hard to grasp as well! That is why the Holy Roman Catholic Church defines the Trinity as a great mystery that we, as feeble humans, cannot possibly understand. All we know about the doctrine of the Trinity is that it is one God in three seperate but equal parts. It is not 1+1+1=1 it is more like .3333+.3333+.3333=1, if any one of these .3333's were missing it would not complete the one whole. And each part of the one is divided into three seperate parts that are totally seperate numbers, but they all come together to form the number one.
Jesus Christ alludes to the presence of the Three in One when he said
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19.) Baptism is the way to forgive original sin, Jesus clearly states that there are three with whom can forgive sins. And all Christians, Musims, and Jews believe that the only person who can forgive sins is God. Jesus (who Muslims accept as one of the greatest prophets) says in that excerpt that there are three parts to the most Divine One. Furthermore, God himself calls Jesus his son when he said: "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17). God himself, the person of the Father, whom Muslims and Jews most revere, is saying in this scene that Jesus is the Christ, promised by the prophets and therefore is God. (Christ meaning Messiah) As it says in Isaiah, "For a child is born to us, a son is given us, upon his shoulders dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Couselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:5). This is clearly stating that if He is the Messiah, then  He is God.
The Muslims also claim that the idea of the Trinity is false because they cannot understand it, and I totally agree with the not being ble to undedtand it, but here is a way that I taught some Muslims about it (who later saw the light and converted)
When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the spirit enabled them to proclaim.
Acts 2:1-4
Look at the equilateral triangle at the right, do you see it? Great. Now imagine that each point on the triangle represents one person of the Trinity. The Top: Father and the bottom two Son and Holy Spirit. Now, if you take away one point of this triangle it would no longer be a triangle. Yet some would say: "But if all the points are equal why is one higher than the other?" And I reply with this: Abondon all reasoning of up and down, and lay the triangle falt on a table, now which way is up? You cannot tell, and such is the Trinity.
I think that I've explained the Trinity well enough (as well as any man can do) and I have most likey made you realize that the Qur'an is not 100% accurate, as Muslims claim. The next  they say thought is that Jesus did not die on the cross, that he merely fainted and woke up three days later and then died a natural death sometime thereafter.
"...we did kill the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the messenger of Allah. Whereas they slew him not nor did they compass his death upon the cross, but he was made to appear to them like one crucified to death; and those who have differed in the matter of his having been taken down alive from the cross are certainly in a state of doubt concerning it, they have no deffinate knowledge it; but only follow a conjecture; they certaily did not compass his death in the manner they alledged; indeed, Allah exalted him to himself..."
4:156-157
But this is absolute non sense, Jesus did die on the cross, and if He did not, all humanity would be lost. You see, if Jesus had not suffered his horible and painful death, we would never be able to experience heaven.  He carried the entire weight of the world's sin on his shoulders and gave up his life and spirit so that we might be saved.
Then after he died he was buried in a tomb (that of Joseph of Aramathea), awaited "three" says. ( in this case the term three only means two sunsets and a dawn Friday-Saturday-Sunday) and on the 1st day of the week he was raised by God, from the pits of hell (Hades, the place of death).

Jesus was led to the place of the skull, which in Aramaic s called Golgatha (Gol-GATH-a) and while he hung on the cross for the three hours he was there, he most likely would have heaved himself up and down on the wooden cross struggling to breath, as apparent on the Shroud of Turin. If Jesus couldnt have moved up and down he would have died, as when one is hung is such a pocition you are eternally inhalling, you must push yourself up on the cross in order to exhale, and this teeter totter would have went on for hours and Jesus struggled for life, along about 3 o'clock in the evening, Jesus cried out in a loud voice: "Eloi Eloi lama Sabachtani!" (which means in aramaic: My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?")
Eloi
Eloi

Sabachtani!
Then, a Roman soldier pierced Jesus' side with a lancea, (or Lancet) a Roman spear. The Lancea went through Jesus' right atrium, which fills with blood and body fluid upon death. We can see the damage from the evidence on the Shroud of Turin which shows blood stains and body fluid markings on the heart area. The Roman soldiers did this instead of breaking Jesus' legs, which was to fulfil what was writen in Psalms. "...and not a bone shall be broken..."
1st century Roman Lancea
Any man who can survive a lancea to the heart is more than human, and Jesus was most certainly human indeed. If Jesus can just "appear" to be dead when a lance has been through his heart.....he is not a man.  And the Old Testament scholars say that the Messiah (which Muslims believe Jesus was) was a man. Once again this is an example of Ignorant Muslims who think that their false prophet Mohammad was true, but Christians know that he is surely burning in the fire's of eternal tomrent for leading so many away from the flock of God.
