At least one parent must be a citizen of your home country. (ex:
If you live in Chicago, then one of you must be American. If you live
in Calgary, one of you must be Canadian.)
Parents not living in their home country will still be able to
adopt. We can help.
The only stipulation is that parents must be at least l5 years older
than the child. There is no upper age limit, but most parents are
between 30 and 55 years old.
Single parents are fine, but will need evidence of good, strong
finances.
Previously divorced is fine too – what is needed is evidence of a
good, stable situation.
Married again? Lovely. Ukraine asks only that it be a stable
relationship.
Ukraine accepts parents without children as well as parents who
already have a family.
Must have approval from your government to adopt (lots of paperwork
but read on, we explain how this gets done).
