FEES BREAKDOWN:
We offer
non-prejudicial assistance to singles and couples regardless of race,
colour, religion and ethnic background. We offer flexibility regarding
your plans. We will make every effort to meet the needs and wishes of
individual parents. We will refer you to support groups when you return
home.
Our
total price for facilitation of an adoption is $8,000. A second child
adopted in the same court hearing as the first child is an additional
$1,000.
ADOPTION
UKRAINE APPLICATION FEE:
This
begins your adoption process with us. As soon as we receive this we will
forward complete information to you, and begin your step-by-step process
of adoption.
REGISTRATION FEE: $ 500.
DOSSIER
PREPARATION:
- List of documents required by Ukrainian
Government and information on their preparation. (Example: Certified
copies of your Birth Certificates).
- Use of our package of forms for Ukraine National
Center for Adoption and guidance with preparation.
- Support through e-mail and telephone as required.
- Translation of forms.
- Notarisation in Ukraine of forms.
- Legal verification of Dossier before submission.
- Submission of Dossier to Ukraine National
Adoption Center.
- Adoption Court and other legal fees.
IF YOU NEED A SPECIALIST IN YOUR CONTRY TO PREPARE
DOSSIER FOR YOU, THEN YOU’LL HAVE TO PAY DOSSIER PREPARATION FEE:
$ 1,000.
IN--COUNTRY FEES:
- Work with your documents, plan and preparation of
your visit before your entering the country;
- Translation, notarization, submission of your
dossier to the National Adoption Center (the AC);
- Preparing initial food package for your arrival;
- Organization of your meeting at the airport;
- Taxi from and to the airport, to the railway
station, and on business;
- Ordering an apartment in Kiev and take you there;
- Providing an interpreter for the visit to the AC
and interpretation during the interview;
- Preparing the package for the region (copies,
notarization);
- Cover the road to the region and back by train (1st
class if available);
- Traveling expenses, accommodations and meals of
the interpreter;
- Apartment in the region, though it is possible
that you will have a hotel room;
- Escort, facilitation, interpretation in the
region;
- Work with institutions, city authorities,
orphanage authorities, court, other offices in the region;
- Charitable donations to orphanages and other
institutions;
- Transportation on business;
- Issuing new documents for the child/children;
- Preparation, notarization and translation of the
child’s documents package for the embassies in Kiev and Warsaw;
- Legalization of the documents at the Ministry of
Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
- Escort to the American Medical Center;
- Legal advice;
- Arrangement of the interview at the American
Consulate in Kiev;
- Transportation to the airport or ordering a taxi
to Warsaw if preferable.
TOTAL IN-COUNTRY FEES:
$ 8,000.
You pay the amount after your dossier is approved by
the Adoption Center and your visit is registered.
We DO NOT include:
- Home Study preparation.
- Cost of Dossier preparation in your home country.
- Your air travel from and to home.
- Your travel between Kiev and Warsaw (if
applicable).
- Your accommodation in Warsaw (if applicable).
- Your embassy fees.
- Medical examination fees for the child(ren).
- Post-placement reports.
- Your meals.
- Personal needs: international telephone calls,
Internet, taxi on personal needs, etc.
Our fees include advice and assistance
on preparation of the above, but not the actual expense involved. Your
financial responsibilities lie with your own country requirements and your
travel to and from Ukraine. Your fees to us ensure that once you are in
Ukraine, you are our responsibility and we take care of you completely,
except for meals. Everyone's taste is different, and we would find it
very difficult indeed to please everyone. We stock the parent's
apartment with basic foodstuffs, take you grocery shopping, and arrange
catering when we are in orphanage cities. We will fund one trip to an
orphanage city outside Kiev and ask that you fund any additional trips.
We feel comfortable making this small stipulation because additional
travel is seldom necessary.
Besides, we provide a basic package: a nice flat, a
taxi for business in the city and train for inter-city trips. If you
prefer flying instead of train or to go by car to the region or back – you
will have to pay for it but we will reimburse the difference.
