CMOFA Governing Principles:

CMOFA, as the official football regulatory body in Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental, is committed to make football fun and available to all, under the principles of VOLUNTEERISM, TRANSPARENCY, and PROFESSIONALISM.

VISION: To make CMOFA teams highly competitive in regional and national competitions.

MISSION: To create a whole year round, self-sustaining regular competitions, festivals, and football marathons (small sided games) for all levels.

GOALS:
a) To strengthen the "CLUB SYSTEM" and membership registration;
b) To expand football awareness programs to the barangays and rural communities;
c) To pursue a continuing training and development on players, coaching, officiating and management;
d) To establish strong and clear linkages with the LGU, DepEd, PRISAA, CHED, PSC, and other institutions involved in the promotion of football;
e) To improve the short and long term financial generation strategies;
f) To expand sponsors and donors base and create a comprehensive marketing exposure to sponsors and donors and their products;
(g) To reach out to more "football alumni", friends of football and football enthusiasts, to help and volunteer for various football development areas.

STRATEGIES:
(a) Conduct regular board and committee meetings for collective decision;
(b) Achieve 50 competitive games a year for each team - all levels on regular and small sided competitions;
(c) Regularly train and educate identified good and talented players in all levels;
(d) Conduct football sa barangay;
(e) Conduct regular free training/clinic for children from 6-15 years old;
(f) Participate in PFF competitions;
(g) Host PFF competitions, trainings, and meetings when viable;
(h) Involve in regular football friendly matches with neighboring FA's;
(i) Make and maintain regular reports, compliance, and communications with PFF and other FA's;
(j) Implement properly Kasibulan-APC in public elementary schools;
(k) Help organize strong and competitive teams for CDO and MISOR in PSC, DILG, etc., regional and national competitions;
(l) Make collective and strong representation to program and activity sponsors and donors for assistance to program, equipments and infrastructure development, and;
(m) Conduct regular seminars on coaching and officiating.
